It is hard to understand for me why they keep doing this. I undestand delays, but there was no reason to do the announcement on Thursday in the first place. Just do not do it.

 

I actually find it a bit disrespectful to be honest.

Well there definitely not helping themselves get rid of the stigma that they have acquired. I also find it disrespectful.

Push dev update or game update?

Well, here's the thing.

If a company posts on their social media that news will come the next day, that news message needs to be 95% done, so its a matter of copy/paste the text, add in a few images if you wish, add the final lines of text and click the post reply button.

That shouldn't be so hard or would it?

Nobody asked them to post on social media if and when there would be a dev update, so its all on them.

Imagine how a company comes across to their (new) customers that dont know the history of that company in terms of postponing things, but only look/follow their social media, i would say you come across as an unreliable company to those people, which i would assume is something any company would want to prevent at all cost.

 

A Dev update was promised yesterday end of story. There's no defending it, it's not the end of the world but just disappointing.

 

I would keep in mind timezones too btw...
Our tomorrow isn't their tomorrow...probably still to come....

You are right. Adherence to deadlines is not what reiza shines with.
But here is another point.
We are talking about a footnote of a game.

Yes they missed a 'self imposed deadline'.
Hardly the most important thing in the world.

At this time of year, it's a time to reflect on what we have and we should be thankful of everything reiza has delivered already, and continues to do so.

Some people need some extra Christmas cheer methinks.

 

You all complaining about a late forum post and those of us that have been around a while know that this is Reiza's thing. Renato does this every time without fail. Just mentally add a week to any announcement and it'll be on time.

 

The word Tomorrow sometimes can be used as a metaphor in meaning ,
