The mere prospect of 1971 Nürburgring makes the waiting worth it for me

Practice for the Adrenaline pack. You have enough time before the dev update

Everybody does when they start out, you'll get used to it. Just focus on the notes, dial back your speed a bit, and practice. Soon enough you'll get into that "flow" where everything clicks mentally.

Try to get used to not flooring the gas pedal, very seldom you can go flat out in rally, that's key to create consistency and avoid crashes.

Just remembered something, a guy said they usually release the dev update after 18:00 local Reiza time.

Maybe not specifically avoiding full throttle (if your driving a RWD car, yes, AWD or FWD, no), more of dialing back to 7/10ths. Rally stages are more complicated and have less room for error. Sometimes you don't know how much a corner tightens over a crest or jump. Rallying is more similar to endurance racing than Grand Prix sprints. Mistakes will damage the car and set you back more than gaining a few tenths in a corner.

It'll definitely teach you about how cars grip up in dips and lighten over crests or elevation. Also, half your counter-steer over jumps, the car will get a sudden burst of front grip on landing. I've had to relearn this recently after spending time away from rallying and rallycross sims.

Well, take your time. If you can deliver it today that's nice. If not, no shame. As long as quality is at higher priority, I'm okay with that.

Merry Christmas Simioni, the Reiza team and all the forum friends.

Regarding default setup oval racing, ill post it again here and rely on you, the forum community, to spread the word to your friends and others.

Default setups that work at all speedways are not a thing. Therefore, its not recommended that people use fixed setups for it. We did our best with the setup as it is because we have to have something in place as a baseline, but whats required at daytona or fontana is not whats required at indy. Its not a failure of the physics or the setups per se, its just a reality.

When racing ovals, explore the setup screen and share it with your mates!

As far as emptybox is concerned, there is indeed work to do tire and ai wise, surely, but it shouldn’t completely detract from the experience that can be had with the appropriate settings.

Use the ai strength and aggression sliders, adjust the setup. If anyone finds good settings, share it!

The issues with the AI are way deeper than any setting and custom files can fix.

Stopping the car at the apex and darting away like rockets have nothing to do with that, as far as my experience with AMS2 AI has shown. All the feedback on the AI can be found at both AI feedback threads.
