Ferrari is quite hard to get without a lot of money

 

I know... that's why I'm not putting my hopes up and if they come they would have to come as individual separate dlc to try to cover the costs, but still very unlikely

all though is worth mentioning tha Rf2 an Race Room did get the Ferrari license not long ago but yeah, reiza have less money sadly...

Le Mans... but AMS2 doesn't allow drivers to swap seats. Will this feature be added?

I mean, does AMS2 plan on supporting endurance races online, or will this be a single player only race mode since swapping can be done only with some random AI?

 

Does anyone know when the current release candidate will be rolled out as an official version and when the next Racin USA pack will be released? Thanks in advance for any and all assistance provided.

Because it would be such a waste to have all this content, Le Mans and no ability to recreate the 24 hour...

No matter how many saves one can make to complete a 24 hour race in SP mode... There's just nothing like a 24 hour race with friends against stiff competition that can't be gamed like even the best AI still can be...

 

VW's licensing of brands seems to be somewhat independent of each other.

Hence Codemasters had different restrictions about how they could work with VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda through their recent titles. They really struggled to get Skoda for ages, Audi would only let them have 'works' cars with no livery support and VW seemed to let them do what they liked. Same with various GT3 games; see Raceroom never having Lamborghini, having loads of Audis and struggling (but managing) to get Bentley onboard.

So I'd treat those completely independently in 'likelihood' terms.

I think that's the only sensible approach. And mentally leave that open to updates in case (for example) Nurburgring gets pushed to early '23 or something similar.

 

I could put 5 weather strips in the custom race and also increase the size of the Grid in SPA Historic from 22 to 30 cars, because walking a 15 km track with no traffic is too bad.

 

I agree. AMS2 is full of great content for endurance races, but doesn't incentive it at all...

Some people are going to be mad at this post and say I sound like a broken record and all that bs (while they themselves post useless things like 'cheese', 'sun god', etc etc): Besides the obvious online driver-swap missing, another massive issue is the stability of the lobby to last 24 hours. Currently I believe AMS2 is very very very far away from being reliable.

Imagine a grid of 32 people connected peer-to-peer in a 24h endurance race in the current AMS2 state. Can anybody trust it to last that long?

 

24h might not be on the cards. You can always do 2.4 hrs, I'd even be glad to do the 24 minutes of Le Mans. With Reiza's track quality it'll be fantastic. I honestly can't wait to put some GTE's into the wall in the Porsche curves, or get destroyed by the C9's in my 962C. ^^
