Thank you for the update. Cant wait for the new GTP.

What happened to Aston Martin and Nissan? Are we getting more cars anytime soon?

I suppose it's a clash of two player bases. If AMS2 multiplayer wasn't peer-to-peer, the other half of the multiplayer player base would be the one being vocal about the need for radical improvements to multiplayer. I hope there is a middle ground somewhere that Reiza is able to find, given enough time.

Im not sure anything can be done about mp without restarting from scratch. P2p can work but not for lfm or esports…

Sad news that the modern IndyCar is under doubt. I really hope this will make it into the game. We are lacking IndyCar / F2 / Super Formula level of performance modern cars.

The news about Indianapolis is fantastic. Question about that: Are you planning just the modern versions of the track or since you mentioned F1 in the 2000s, also the track from that period? Can you say which configs are planned?

I believe ACC features a mix of the last two track config variants. However, as is typical with ACC, they have modeled everything, but offer just one config, which is a real bummer :( In AMS2 we have both formula cars and GT cars, so definitely at least the long loop in the middle should be an option. Please :)

Would be nice if one of the QOL improvements is being able to map fuel mix to a button, that and auto starting in the pits are the only real to glaring omissions from on board adjustments.

It depends on what AMS2 wants to be, really.

If AMS2 wants to allow more "serious" stuff, like leagues and competitive systems (LFM, for example), peer to peer has to go.

Atm AMS2 goal seems to be a sim more focused on the offline and casual online experience. A game to occasionally play alone or with a few friends.

And before people jump in attacking me, I'm not saying casual is inferior to competitive, or vice-versa. I just want to know what AMS2 wants to be. Being one or the other is completely fine, it just need clarity on what to expect from the game's future.

It would be nice to receive some clarification on what is exactly possible with the way MP is configured with the madness engine. Up to today it has been the part of the game that has received the least TLC, so there must be a reason for that (apart from priorities). It would help a lot if we'd know where we stand atm and what would be feasible. At least we can brainstorm for improvements and not have any unrealistic expectations.

Thanks Renato!! The TRUE Spa and the Green Hell are the best possible additions to any sim!!
Just wondering how did you get LIDAR data for track sections that changed a lot through the time, as Eau Rouge, that was narrower and slower in the 60's than today. But well, we'll try it when available :)

    Cheers! Marcos

Judging by this, I feel like they tried to get LIDAR where possible of the sections that still remain, and for the parts that have changed they've pretty much tried to do guesswork based off of pictures and footage of the track back then

I too love P2P for how easy it makes setting up quick races against friends, including with AI. But I totally get it how better dedicated support would make it easier for leagues and services like LFM. Fingers crossed.
