Yeah, maybe not! I’m sure it was pencilled in recently, but I can’t find any reference to an imminent Nissan release. Ever the fantasist, me.

It's a third-party plugin that allows you to use custom dashboards and stuff in sims, I don't know much else about it given I don't use it but I just thought it was worth noting combined with the mention of the car in question in the other post I replied to

The only confirmed thing that I can recall is a mention of wanting the addition of Aston and/or Nissan to be the main addition of an update.

I mean, Supercars? GTR, R390, and a Aston martin with the racing versions free to all users?

That grabbed my attention as well... There's some smoke, but I wonder if there's fire...

Wasn't the Nissan Aston rumors from the photo of Brazilian endurance in last year developments update?

Maybe they have had problems with licensing or just waiting

Yes, I've tested specifically for this effect and it is present although, the volume has been reduced somewhat, recently. The effect is tied to the player engine volume slider.

Dev's have stated that the wall reflection effect may receive further volume level tuning based on user feedback but, the intent was to achieve a more realistic level. I do think it could be increased a little but, I tend to run the player engine volume between 75-85%. I also find it to be less effective using standard headphones (vs VR).

I just ran in VR with HP G2 in 2012 Jacaperagua during the weekend.

I found the effect strangely very strong next to the wall. Car was GT3 Merc or McLaren.

As is the case in real life.

A good track to test is Jacarepagua 1988 with the long wall on the back straight. It's long and straight enough you can drive right beside it and then pull away and go back to hear the difference.

There aren't that many tracks that have walls you drive right beside that would produce reverberations in real life. On a normal open "road course" there shouldn't be any reverb. Street tracks with walls, yes.

If you want to judge if the effect is exaggerated, try the tunnel at Azure/Monaco--the only place where there is extended, multiple-sided reverb (two walls and roof!) on any track in the game.

And as I report this--some cars have much more reverb than others (try Copa Fusca in the tunnel), so calibrating is still in progress. I am sure it will be finalized at nice levels in the end.

Sorry if I'm a bit late to the party but why are so many people sure the last Premium Track for the 20-22 season pass is gonna be Zandvoort? I wouldn't complain but the expected "Modern GP circuit with classic layouts" fits Barcelona-Catalunya, the Hungaroring and Mexico City as well. Just curious if there is any reason why those were not really considered here. :)

Really looking forward to the 70s Nürburgring, tho. Any chance we'll get the pre 2002 layout as well? :D

I think you really have to look into the past and see if the historic layouts are significantly different and historically important (F1, World sports cars - past and present) to the current one to warrant a large scale pass for the location that allows for 3-4 different period variants. My quick assessment:

Le Mans - ABSOLUTELY, but its been rules out by Renato.
    Zandvoort - YES!
    Fuji - yeees!?
    Mexico City - ehhh... maybe!
    Catalunya - no!
    Hungaroring - NO!

I appreciate how I just spent 17 minutes on linking all the track maps for all these tracks and the forum just said: "you can't attach more than 15 images" and deleted everything I did. No chance to fix, change, go back, just DELETE!!!!!!!!!
