Personally I would flip the last two, because at least with the Hungaroring you can't still drive the old layout like you can with Catalunya

Thanks for enlightening me, that makes sense. :)

I agree with you. Personally I’d even put the Hungaroring further up as I feel like we’d need more classic tracks that fit the V10 Gen2 car. Most of the tracks we have for them feel a little disconnected to that era as they’re either way too modern in their current version and way too old in their classic variants and sometimes the modern layouts are even a bit different as well (like Indianapolis, Nürburgring). I think the Hungaroring could be a nice addition to them (if we got a 2001 variant).

That being said, I agree that Zandvoorts classic layouts are a lot more appealing since this is pretty much an entirely different track opposed to just some corners being different.

Talking of tracks, do you reckon Reiza could get the secretly located Top Gear Test Track (Just off the A281 @ Dunsfold Aerodrome... In Dunsfold) into the sim?

This would be awsome! I know alot of us who watch the show would love to try out the (hopefully coming soon) supercar pack there and see if we can beat The Stigs laptimes!

Laserscan the muthfudger aswell, I'd be happy to buy that as DLC, who's with me?

Actually, only its inclusion in an upcoming pack has been ruled out. I'm pretty sure it is coming at some point next year.

It's already in rF2 (with a peculiar licensing arrangement).

What do you base this on? I hope that you are right about this because I would love a quality Le Mans and I really don't like using rF2.

Dylan said (p45 of this thread):
...I'm hoping Lemans will be a multi part racing USA style expansion with multiple eras.
    To which, Renato replied:
'All I’m saying is that it’s not the sixth track '
So there's a track pack due next year, and a separate, unnamed premium French track scheduled for release too.

    LE MANS! (probably),

That is usually the way, all those great circuits have been neutered

To be fair, more often than not there are good reasons for it. Large sweeping bends with little to no run off throughout almost the whole lap not only isn't really the safest at all but can also really have an negative impact on the racing product for high downforce cars.

Yes, these old tracks like Spa, Zandvoort, Silverstone or Hockenheim were designed for 50's and 60's cars will little aero downforce and lots of mechanical grip. But with today's cars with lots of aero downforce, the racing would be dull.

That's why I don't simrace with modern cars on old layouts and vice-versa.

That may be so but I am just saying that from the perspective of the tracks themselves, not looking at it from a safety aspect.

Really? I find it quite fun mixing that up rather than just sticking to the same cars on normal tracks

I know we have several cars that are already fairly close approximations to LMP2-3, but I hope we get some others at some point. Rumors of LMP2's being banned from the WEC as to not compete for outright wins against the Hypercars. LMP2 chassis will still live on in their GTP/LMDh counterparts, but it's still a bit sad to see them go.
