Oh, sure it can be fun for a few laps, but in my case, it kills the feeling of immersion. It feels a bit... wrong to race a formula ultimate on 1970 Spa. Just a question of realism to me...

True, but it's fun to see what could've been. 2000's CART on classic Spa is 220 mph bliss/terror, meanwhile mid 80's F1 there is 255 mph of "that pylon would probably kill me at this speed."

 

Even almost historically accurate like 10km Monza with F-Vintage, Curva Grande is possibly flat out, if you have both the bravery and the talent to take it at like 300km/h?

 

I don't get that at all, I like mixing it up

 

I know it's s bit of a hot take but I'm really not a fan of using old cars with modern tracks and vise versa. Just doesn't sit right with me

 

The good thing is nobody can make you do it so its not an issue

 

The beauty of sims is that they can give us the options to race what we want where we want....

I can't wait until we get some supertruck tracks so I can take the Copa trucks and cause chaos

I love racing the reverse layouts of tracks you can't in real life in Assetto Corsa. Like Laguna Seca, Silverstone, Nordschleife and Imola for example. That oughta make some people faint in here.
Real and fantasy sit nicely together in the digital world.

 

I actually would love some reverse layouts of tracks just for fun... Like they could call it the wacky pack, sell it on april fools day, and its just a few tracks with the reverse layout added....

 

I have tried this in ams1, the copa trucks flip forwards but don't have enough angular velocity to do forward flips

 

And some loops and corkscrews we can do at top whack in the Sauber C9.

 

We'd also need the Jaguar XJR-9 to properly replicate Stunts (or 4D Sports Driving):

Since old Spa was released, I probably "killed myself" about a dozen times...
