It wasnt meant as nagging at all, just giving my opinion/responding to other people on the forum, sideloaded with constructive criticism.

I'm also not hesitant to help other people if they have questions/issues, as can be seen throughout this forum as well.

Good to hear that he has been professional so far, and lets look forward to whats coming in the near future.

There is a reason why certain experts show their knowledge by doing bad things. Only if they are good humans should they be forgiven

    That is reassuring.

I wonder what implications this will have during racing, though. The AI are still far too robotic in terms of motion when overtaking or driving in general. If you compare rF2 AI or iRacing AI to AMS2, the difference is night and day in how smooth it is. AMS2 AI still have very abrupt movement and erratic behaviour when driving, can this not be smoothed out at all?

Another thing that I have observed again (after taking a considerable break from AMS2) was that the AI still consistently drive on the grass without any consequence. I think the reason why they're not being penalised is because it would simply ruin the game.

Right now, you can pick any car or track, load it up and within 5-6 laps it turns into a dirt track because the ai logic is not good enough to maintain sensible racing, awareness and overtaking without touching or even extending way into the grass/dirt on most corners, every lap. It is a pretty big issue.

Feels like it needs a big overhaul in how the AI navigate the track personally. The spline behaviour is just very odd. Or maybe it's a physics issue that the AI cars have. I regularly see the AI just do very abrupt or erratic turns whilst driving which just makes it look really silly, even on roads that are relatively straight. The snapping type behaviour has been documented many of times here I believe.

Not a big issue, but yeah, particularly after a FCY, all debris should be removed. Little bit of an immersion breaker to still see wheels lying around afterwards.

This is a simple observation that will surely earn me the wrath of many people, but gratitude is not part of the code of conduct of many people on this forum. Fortunately, this is not a generalization!

Is there any chance we could raise the speedlimits in the pit lanes at historic tracks? I want to take a stab at coming in at 150mph and trying not to run over my pit crew

He does say that it's the "first GTP car", so it's hope that there will be more to make a proper grid in the future I guess? GTP are similar in performance to the Group C cars? I know nothing about them to be honest, cant wait to try it.

Hope we also get some DPIs or Supercars. We first have to wait for the update which I hope arrives today or tomorrow (the release candidate also works)

It does look like a earlier era of prototype vs the current group C cars which are at the very end of the group C era. But the 962 basically lasted the entire prototype era with little external changes. Hopefully we get a slightly backdated IMSA spec Porsche too

Oh well. I like having the car to race with now instead of waiting for more cars/licenses to fill up the class. It doesn't bother me a bit.

This is unfortunate, I did'nt hear about Indycar contacting Reiza, whats the problem with the licence? Anything to do with MSG or S397 using it? Maybe you can't say, but shame, hope something good comes from future discussion with them.

    The pit speed limits in ams2 are by car, not track/session. This means that some ridiculous speed limits exist (mini has limit of 100kmh at monaco). It should be by track like the speed limit signs at the pit entrance say. It should be;

    • 60kmh (37mph) at most tracks
    • 80kmh (50mph) at f1 tracks during race sessions
    • 60mph for indycars at ovals (fontana and gateway)
    • 50mph (80kmh) for indycars at road courses
The pit limit speed icon is very confusing atm as there is no units icon.

As for the historic tracks before speed limits, why not disable it ;)

Great news about Indy! Very generous of Reiza to let folks use the existing oval tracks fro free! I think folks who've tried them will buy them!
