Tbh I'm absolutely mystified as to why you guys are currently being ignored as well, especially seeing as most other people in this thread got answers when problems arose.

Really weird especially seeing as I'd have expected Reiza to be happy about their fellow countrymen's continued support.

 

Absolutelly, it's even more frustrating that we are just being ignored.

 

I would assume this would be a tax issue right? I know from commissioning art for my book some countries are extremely analytical about "digital goods"

 

I just want to buy it... With our Brazilian Paypal account, it is not possible with or without taxes.
Paypal rules seem to not accept making transactions in dollars from a Brazilian account to another Brazilian account. (not a problem to buy any other product within another country)
Just make the conversion and enable us to throw some money on the screen before my wife finds out!

*As I'm not selling anything via Paypal, I don't know if there is an issue with the payment options setup on their part.

 

Did you have contact paypal customer service first? they are might better on that problem..

I hope you are right, but a "hey guys we noticed that this is happening and we are trying to find a work around" wouldnt hurt, then we could just wait patiently.

 

No, as it seems to be a general problem with Brazilian accounts, I'm assuming it's something on their end.

I assume that too, only commented above to make sure this issue is known as the "limited time offer" caused an urge to make the decision. Considering they are in overdrive mode to deliver the updates, maybe it's not the priority right now.
I don't know how big is their market here in Brazil, but I don't believe they made it intentionally as there is no logic to keeping us out of the program.

Entered the AMS1 Ultimate Edition product key provided with Paddock membership and it appears in Steam as Automobilista Beta.
I expected this for AMS2 but why wouldn’t the key be for AMS1 “public”?

maybe they’re one and the same.

The $200 gives you all past and future DLC's, beta access along with all of AMS 1 and of its DLC's but please continue to be a troll.

Could this have to do with Brazil dropping the USD as the reserve currency? Maybe PayPal doesn't have permission yet to do bricks to bricks transactions?

Well...yes, but no. It might look a bit Star Citizen (boke!), but I suspect the high bar for entry is to dissuade casual uptake. You'd have to be very serious about multiplayer racing in AMS2 in order to give the sort of feedback that would be valuable for a closed beta program. If you're that person, then you'd probably get loads from the purchase. I'm personally not a fan of things that might divide the community into haves-and-have-nots, but I'm comfortable that this isn't the intention here. This is Reiza we're talking about after all, not Cloud Imperium.

Speaking for myself, I'm predominantly a pad player (DS Edge though, so it's dead fancy, like), soooo...there is no sensible place for low-life like me in the Paddock Club .

 

I think there is some regulation to meet Central Bank rules or something.

As it's not an international payment, the company won't be able to charge Brazilian clients in other currencies using Paypal.

 

Bruh... Reiza is going to have to offer a mail order alternative or something?

 

An interesting option for Brazilians would be to pay by pix using Brazilian Reals.

 

For those curious about what is a "Pix" in Brazil:

Basically something many other countries already do, but we still did not have it officially.
