I really like how you consider long time backers and how you drive the padock membership so we can get the best from people who want to really get involved in AMS2. Kudos again and again Reiza, keep going that way

This is great news! I'm hoping to be able to help on the MP side if and when that gets looked at!

Can you run AMS2 Beta alongside the release version? Can you transfer settings for gfx/controlsets etc from release into Beta version?

You should be able to as I just did. Just launch AMS2 beta via steam and save one of the default controller configs. This creates the savegame folder in my documents. Then you can just copy the files you want from AMS2 to the AMS2 beta folder. I copied my gfx / VR settings and my three wheel rim settings over then launched AMS2 beta and everything was the same as the none beta game.

It should be noted that if you are into multiplayer but also want to test the beta, you will need to have both the beta and regular version of AMS2 installed, the later being necessary to play MP with non-beta users. Just mentioning it because both games installed take a lot of disk space and it is not going to get smaller.

And for singleplayer do you also need to install it twice (double disc space) if you want to try things out in beta?

Great idea Reiza, I'm sure many will jump on this opportunity.
Welcome all new members, you have made the correct choice, Reiza has to be one of if not the most open and transparent dev teams, such a great value chance to jump in for the whole experience.

No problem to only use the Beta if you don't need online with the release version.
    PS
..If you don't have enough disc space for both versions!

No (if you do single player only) as the beta is either in advance or at the same level than the release version.
But the beta could have bugs (usually fixed fast if game breaking), work in progress, or you may want to compare some stuff between versions, so it's best to have both installed if you can.
Also, beta players are not counted in AMS2 Steam charts (as the beta is technically a different game).

I just bought the $99 package to support Reiza. One question though... is the "AMS Beta" app runs side-by-side to the main AMS2? I hope so, would like to keep racing online and participate in time trials.

Sorry, I meant it like if you want to have the official release and beta, they are different games. For offline you can stick with beta, but I tend to use release when it is up to date and beta for the days the content and features are only available on beta. Personal choice though.

Anything else would be too big of a guess.
