Automobilista 2 September 2024 Development Update - The Road to V1.6 Pt2

What is the IMMEDIATE first thing that you guys will do once 1.6 comes out. New cars/tracks? Or testing the new tyre model on older cars?

I can only suggest to pick a selection of max 5 cars, drive them for a bit now in the current version, then drive them again in 1.6, one class i can suggest is the Group A cars.

 

The first thing I'd suggest people do is to do tire testing with whatever car you like, see how tire temperature affects handling, change the date and see how track temperature affects tire temperature, and try different tire compounds. Soft tire isn't always the best choice in 1.6.
The joke going around is that depending on the track and on the conditions one will have to choose between going soft or getting a hard on.

 

The part 1 update thread worked out 4 of the cars. The 5th car was missing. Part 2 update seemed confirm that is the Huracan. A earlier post put this list together.

GT3s on Spa because no one ever does that.

 

Waiting only makes us stronger. I've been waiting for GTA VI since I completed V on xbox360 in 2013 and since 2002 I've been really patient about Mika Häkkinen ending his sabbatical.

 

Maybe one of the missing cars is the current Corvette being raced on IMSA this year, the Corvette Z06 GT3? I remember seeing a Corvette on the Overtake stream, but I can't remember which one it was.

You'll have to wait until part 3 to know all the details, if you don't have access to beta forum all you can do until then is to dream about cars that might be confirmed.

 

48 AI multiclass race of GT4, GT3 Gen2 and LMDh, i will drive the GT3 and put the AI through a 1 hour race session and then make a video of it as a 1.6 AI state with a full in-depth critique.

I've been waiting for a new Silent Hill since 2012 (not counting the P.T. on 2014). Waiting and waiting every passing year for any new info, any new tweet, anything. And since 2016 or something I've been hearing rumors about a big announcement: "Yea, there'll be a big announcement on E3 this year. No, I mean THIS year, not last year. Guys, I really mean it. THIS year there'll be a big announcement. Investors are going bananas. Konami has just made a deal with Kojima, David Lynch and Oprah Winfrey".
And I watched every GamesCon, Sony State of Play, XBox Showcase, Nintendo Direct. Everything. It was only last year, 2023, that it finally happened. Now we have Silent Hill 2 remake. But the wait is not over. It never is.

 

I hope Reiza will make that automatic for everyone with the update...
