Question about the 12 GB memory for the extended grid : it's RAM memory or VRAM memory ?

 

Wow! Road Atlanta and Mosport: two terrific tracks only available as mods, now finally officially in a sim. And in AMS2!! This alone was worth the wait for 1.6.

It's RAM memory and VRAM memory together.
The more the better.

 

We are soo close to the Daytona 24h 59 car grid

 

We’ve been able to do AI driver swaps since day 1

 

A very promising looking update, it appears a lot of work as gone into it.

On the point of more control over the AI, the Reiza ethos is very welcome, when there are too many parameters to play with it takes time away from driving and ends in constant tweaking of sliders. I hope that a simple 'realistic' option will be available for all the AI options, so it leaves no room for debate, like what we have with the aggression settings now.

The AI dont do driver swaps. Thats what he is asking

One query on the AI side it mentions blue flag behaviour but am I correct in thinking blue flags don’t apply to different classes in multiclass? Will the higher class cars be better at overtaking lower class cars? I would assume this is the case but couldn’t see it specifically mentioned.

Here we are excitedly waiting on 1.6 (well, I've been playing non-stop on beta ) and here I am masochistically salivating at:

Nice, I'll keep patiently waiting while playing CarX Street lol, decompressing from the "Sim" stress

can we hope for the possibility of being able to change drivers during the game for longer endurance races ?

If your a fan of AMS 2, your gonna collectivly loose your **** when you reaslise what content is coming.

 

If you mean have an AI driver take over your car during a pit stop, you can already do that.

 

I'm pleased we're getting closer to the release.
It was a while since I've played the main release since the changes in beta were so good, it'll be good to bump up the player count again

Also great to know that the project is not considered "completed" so it'll get even better in the future
