I think the hype train just lost a few cars.


I'd rather test the whole thing myself, the stream is...sometimes...but...then...stut...ters...and...hickup...720p...stut...ters.. ..!?.....and ....#€%then again......it's....no......fun.....stutt%€#@er...again

 

Stream is an absolute mess.

 

I have a funny feeling Overtake won't be allowed to do another stream like this in the future

 

At least the Audi GT3 sounds good tho xd

 

This stream is slightly suboptimal...

 

If what comes out of a dog's backside can be called suboptimal.

 

Even if stream is suboptimal I can guarantee you that v1.6 is not , although I do not want to hype it too much.

 

Why, why, why didn’t they just do a half hour pre recorded video. I just feel sorry for the poor guy now.

 

The Livestream has been disappointing.

I wish Reiza had chosen to do pre-recorded video to showcase v1.6 and they could have used @SimRacing604 or @gplaps. #liveandlearn

 

Not sure if it was a last minute initiative, but next time it should be prepared better. More video quality and more detailed work plan. Cause this is not a great showing.

 

Anyone else just hoping that the content he couldn't show is a Ferrari GT3?

 

Love the new UI and the physics seem very grounded from the stream as well.
Kinda disappointed in seeing the TC/ABS bug still being a thing though

 

Agreed.. Even the screen is cut and nobody can see the new track map on top right

 

Sadly I have to agree - how you can choose your showcae-partner this poorly? I mean I dont know the guy, but he is clearly not a good driver nor seems to be a bit prepared for what to show exactly and how to show it. Seems like he just got the message 20min before stream

I dont think it will make a big difference though ...

But what I saw of the AI till now was not very encouraging. They seem to have a bit more leeway in taking lanes, but seem still to passive and not very defensive - but we will see.

Undoubtedly the best intentions.. but unfortunately poorly planned and executed..

I have thought for some time that, given that Reiza is one of the most forthcoming and communicative developers, I at least, have come across.. It would be great to produce a video with Renato or maybe Crimson being interviewed and maybe giving us a little insight into the team, how they work together (Like, do they all turn up at the same office?.. or do they work from home in different places around the globe and never really interact in the physical world? etc.) to give us a greater understanding of how things come together and the 'family' of guys (and gals?) behind it.

Imagine then, some game footage interspersed, showcasing some of the new bits and pieces (Which could have been perfectly vetted to tease or hide what they wanted!) along with some insights of how they achieved it.

Maybe wishful thinking.. some prefer not to be in the spotlight particularly.. Maybe an idea for the future seeing as this horse is almost over the finishing line

 

Wouldn't say he's bad but he definitely needs to lower the AI difficulty a bit. He's overdriving the cars quite a lot, and that's making him look bad.
