I just checked on the AC mod and yes, definitely Mosport.... the blue roof on the marshal post is the giveaway and the shadow in the foreground is actually from an overhead gantry and not a bridge as I first guessed.

 

I think AI still needs improvement; in the example video, train groups are formed, which is not entirely realistic or natural.

 

Is something I noticed when I raced AI in differents categories, it feels a bit unrealistic.

 

The fireworks are low key one of the things I’m most exited for. Excellent work Reiza!

Yes, that's what I was referring to in the post I made above. They go very close together, almost always in groups of 2 (as seen in the video) and there is always a tendency for them not to separate, the rhythm of the laps needs to be improved with more variables.

 

That is only a 6 lap race so I’m hoping things will balance out better over a longer run.

 

That's another sim i'll be hands on with soon content-wise.

IIRC when I tried out the initial release of the Le Mans and Hypercar/GT3 update, this was also an issue, where the following car would just stick behind the lead car, literally following in the tire tracks and not attempting to make a pass. Considering we don't know what build the video was shown from, I do hope it's something they can get sorted, since it seems to be a glaring issue with AI-to-AI racing.

Otherwise, still excited to read about all the updates! Looking forward to it coming out.

 

I don't know if you meant they did this for the entire race, but just chilling in second place for a bit does not seem that weird in to me in an endurance context.

 

The thing I am most excited for is 48 cars! That will be amazing. I personally would enjoy it on tracks that do not support it in real life (let's make use of the fact that it's a game after all), even if the start would be slight wonky.

Of course if it cannot be done for whatever reason it cannot be done (I trust you all; don't read this as me pushing hard for it, just a suggestion), but having the option (perhaps with a "look out this may be suboptimal" warning) would be a good solution I think

 

Since release of 1.6 in AMS2beta I just started AMS2 to make sure that this is all true.
