Yes I noticed this too , very subtle but noticeable none the less .
I think this is because of the new camera or so. It can't keep up or so. When switching to the old one its gone.
Agree. I've switched back to the old camera for the time being. Once you notice those vertical stutters you can't un-notice them.
Thank you for the update
As Bathurst had another art pass I thought I would let you know there is a still a transparent texture coming off the LH wall at the cutting. A bug post was created a while back..
In regards to the seat position saving. I tried the new Group A's and the seat position did not save. For me it kind has a mind of its own.. Sometimes it saves per class, other times per vehicle and sometimes not at all.. A UI interface would be handy here..
I also recently upgraded some hardware and I also upgraded to nVidia 456.55. Unlike 446.14 which was great, I am considering going back because every 456.X driver I have tried does not like up scaled resolutions running on 1080p. It's just not smooth. This is not a AMS2 issue as I have noticed this in ACC, iR etc.. Has anyone else noticed this? I usually run a 4K custom resolution on 1080p for AMS2 as it makes the graphics and AA look a lot nicer..
Mine aren't subtle at all, very jerky, big stutter and slowdown.
Suggest anyone experiencing stutters puts details in the bug reports area - from past experience with other games there'll be a common hardware theme in there.
Regarding stutters,is there a particular track where it happens more, and where it happens less?
Non-camera stutter do happen in Oulton when going uphil near the finish/start-line. It ates 4 fps and then go back to normal. It happens during other tracks as well.
Great update guys. What a feeling driving those classic cars Minis up next
Thank you @Marc Collins for your precise argumentation of this basic bug - and where it come from.
Because if it was solvable inside the Madness environment Reiza would probably allready have done it.
Hoppefully they can find a hack so at least on this part they can create their own solution - like in AMS1.
I have mentioned where in a couple of tracks I have tried since the update, the posts are in the bug thread.
How do you just have one headlight on?
He broke the other one when going off track.
About Mini JCW....
I noticed the FFB become heavier when full throutle in the corner when the front wheel sliping. Is it supposed as IRL? Because it behaved some kind of counter-intuitive for me. On the other hand, the classic mini is feeling pretty right in the corner.
I saw no one mentiond it. Maybe I'm wrong anyway.
Judging from replays, at certain viewing angles the reflection on the BMW's headlights gives the illusion that one headlight is switched on.
This may be the effect of the fancy LSD these cars have. Because of that, they should drive the least like a FWD car (in real life) compared to anything most of us have experienced.
Not in this thread, at least.
why do the cars still auto start in the pits when I have this set for a manual start up procedure..?
challenge accepted and completed.. Under 10% is the only way I can run the new settings although I must admit I don't really like them so for now I will use the legacy option until there is further development..
Car movement is my biggest issue. I don't like seeing the car bouncing around you when the movement of vision is fairly locked..
I must admit I have never really found a nice setting in AMS2..
On a positive note the M1 is wicked fun. Please more cars like that..
With reference to your avatar: Eddie Jordan has no problem seeing things bouncing around...
