Just to jump in and add that I've never felt a soft-lock on my G29, on any branch of AMS2.

Heyo Tek. Soft-lock works (at least on my side) but due to the lack of force in the wheel, if your strength is too high, you will barely notice it. I use 83 atm and only notice it because the force suddenly stops waving up and down (aka stays constant).
If you set your forces lower and retry, do you feel the lock?

Seems that it is not only me who has problems with soft-lock.
Can soneone report it to Reiza directly, please?

Interesting point that makes sense to me.

I've never had any issue related to my TM-TX in any sim.
From my point of view, this case is a mis-config issue.

I use default CP, except for Damping = 0 since the standard 100% is adviced by TM to interfere with forces (see your CP config screen).
Ingame wheel calibration have crucial points, the first one is wheel angle.
You MUST verify if your physical wheel rotation matches the virtual wheel rotation, taking special attention to the final angles.
Ingame Gain calibration will need access to the HUD telemetry screen in order to avoid ANY red clipping signal (any car, any track). My TM-TX is set to 64%.
LFB and FX of your preferences, mine are 40% atm. Damping = 0.

Overall gain is CP gain versus Ingame Gain or 75% vs 64% = 48%
I suppose "all" non-DD wheels will be near that value. So, if you set 100% CP will find ideal Ingame Gain slide at 48% region.

PS: TM-TX lock to lock is 900º but ingame calibration is 860º

Hiya mate, yeah I did ponder about that as I tend to run high gain (Normally 100, sometimes down to 80) so it's quite possible the forces of the initial FFB are too great (For the wheel) to then exert 'more' force as a 'lock'.
Will have a play at lower initial forces to see what I can feel. It's never really bothered me, but will be interesting to see.

    Found this line:
Changed the value to 100.0 (instead 1.0), but nothing happens / changes, although I restart AMS2.
    FFB.JPG
In TM control panel I use 100%, in game I use 100%, too.
    Still no soft-lock.
Is there any other line which can be modified for soft-lock?

That is what I was hinting originally. If you have the wheel cranked up to the max I doubt a soft lock can add anything at all. All that remains is the physical end lock

Indeed. Of course, it also depends on where you are in the range of FFB strength at the time the soft lock is required too. Applying opposite lock for example where there may be a light load while hitting where a soft lock 'should' be.

@alink I said all the stuff in the past 6 or 7 posts and gave detailed instructions a page back. And what to do if it didn't work...

No, my relevant reply started at post 192 in this thread, though I have many others on the same topic in other threads, too.

Ah, I hadn't read that far back, not enough time and too much IRL stuff going on TBH. But upon quickly reading, I've previously reported issues (One numerous times since release that still exists) that seem to fall on deaf ears so I'm not going to be putting time into properly reporting any more, for now at least.

Any news on the SPA update? Will we get it in 2020?

We'll see. Major updates and community update are often shared at the very end/beginning of each month. I also hope we get it before 2021, but I also hope Reiza doesn't rush the update. A delayed, but well developed update > A quick buggy one. *Cough* *Cough* Cyberpunk *Cough*.

I don't think we should expect an update because other games are updating.

I agree but the SPA update is already delayed, I think people would be happy to try the new track during the holidays even if the new cars are clunky.
