Oops... I missed that part. My mistake.
in my opinion, Group A is still broken. They had it perfect before the update. that hurts.
Brazilian coca must be good because you boys are working like race horses..
All those new truck assets and crowd look fantastic! Even the dirt wall on the left after Blanchimont has all these nice new textures.. With all the new candy I am still getting up to 180 FPS with max graphics and 29 Ai... f@#k yeah!
I know I am being a broken record.. Eau Rouge continues to be a issue for the Ai..
Hey folks! There was a little fix in the latest updates that I think could lead to something massive, what do you think?
Adelaide track is probably the bumpiest track in AMS2 right now and also Jerez is very difficult to drive and keep even the Sprintrace car on track(most difficult corner is turn 5).
Adelaide is also not optimized at all performance wise, probably the least optimized track in AMS2. Try racing at sunset and compare the fps to Interlagos for example. Brasilia during a night race also has big fps drops when driving on the start finish straight.
do we need TT leaderboards wiped again
Nice video and very interesting. One thing Im curious about is why the ai times show a nice spread during qualifying but in the race they differ by maybe only half a second (based on my experiences of the stockcar 2020 championship race 1 only atm), and for the slowest cars in qualifying their race pace is right up there with the front runners. Its as though the qualifying pace potential isnt translated into the race pace potential..? Thoughts?
Edit- I may be completely off with this but it was a perception based on pausing periodically to look at ai lap times, then relate those to qualifying lap times and the delta between theirs and mine.
Edit2- Correction to my post. Ai split in Qualifying from P2 to P30 was 1.29.044 to 1.29.477 so not a big difference there at all. I noticed that their times didnt really get better over the session though, which I wouldve hoped for as the track rubbered in. In fact they never really seemed to get close to their first run, instead lapping about 2 seconds a lap down.
Has anyone else noticed going down the Kemmel straight in the Porsche GT1 it pulls the vehicle quite a bit to the left..? If you are not careful it is easy to end up on the grass..
You need to recalibrate your brain. Hold your nose and stick your finger in your ear for five seconds, should do the trick.
I'm glad you said ear.. Or am I..
That’s the full body reset option. But be warned, it may result in violent oscillations.
If that were the case we'd all be experiencing it.
Adelaide should also get performance optimization. Unplayable at sunset in VR for me. Had same problem with Kyalami in the past, but then the devs optimized this track with an update and then it worked well in VR...
It's my go to test track, I love it as is.
When setting Ai it would be great if it would tell you the lap time they will do on the track/car combo you've selected, not just 107% but 2:19 - 2:23 or something.
I have updated AMS 2 regular and alpha, beta innumerable times and have never had an issue. I also have deleted my profile only once, ever. Clearly there is something wrong with a system that has so many issues when thousands of users are receiving and processing so many updates. And with Reiza, we get a lot of updates (thank goodness)!!!
There are a couple of tracks that seem to have rutts on the surface that pull the car to the side.
Velocity is one as you come on the back straight on the outter curb the car gets pulled by the track surface.
I raced a GT3 at Adelaide last night and did not find it overly bumpy, I have 4 shakers too.
Any idea why my update was 787mb like some others mentioned and not 1.6gb like Renato says it was?
