Sooo.... can I be the odd guy out here and hope for more vintage content. I would love even just one or two of the many amazing American Tracks that no longer exist from the 1960s and 1970s: Riverside, Stardust, Meadowdale, Bridgehampton, Texas World, Ontario Motor, Augusta International, Continental Divide, & Marlboro Motor.

Pair that with Can Am cars and some early WSCC endurance cars and I will be a happy man.

Aye, I'd rather see more depth to the existing classes. Adding generic cars to the roster was a brilliant move. Once you have three different models and all the liveries going, it really looks like a credible grid. And while we're at it, can we please have the livery situation fixed so the AI won't use the same skin as the player?

Personally, I love the late '60s to early '70s F1 stuff because it was such a spectacular and insanely dangerous era of racing. I guess it's the 'Spitfire pilot mentality' of those dandies and dare devils that I find really gripping, and I think Reiza nailed the flamboyant looks and spirit of those cars.

LOL That was a controversial suggestion then wer'nt it! Yeah I know, shut up Tarmac Laguna's in everything else! Well, yeah to be fair, but I got personal reasons for that, plus its a great track! Le Mans, well we've already got Group C's and also its a good track to see what you can achieve (top speed wise) when mucking around with setups. I know its not everyones cuppa tea though............ LOTUS CARLTON!!! (sorry thats my Vauxhall tourette's playing up again!)

I second that. Plz not just 2-3 cars of each class. The immersion of that glorious old days gets even bigger the closer we get to the full field of cars, just like it was back in these days.
I know, I know, license related. Well, still. I could live with less different classes when the existing one would be full complete.

Im gunna jump in on the historic stuff aswell, and i know ive mentioned this before but this Historic GT & Touring car mod for the original ISI Rfactor was just amazing! These cars are just so good to drive and to look at, to hear, to experience! Im a sucker for these old tin tops and i had a seperate install of RF set aside just for this mod. Would love this in AMS2 and old versions of tracks like dijon prenois or magny cours. Its great having the modern GT's with all the tech but these sideways monsters with no TC or ABS and a bit of body roll are just. Well put it this way i've seen them race at Snetterton and, yeah its good man!

Whilst I harp on alot about what i'd love to see in the sim, its always good to appreciate what we've alreay got and what this sim is already capable of.

It was a random online race in AMS2 at the end of last week after a long day that inspired this video, one of the best sim racing experiences I've ever had, was'nt recording at the time so had to make it up out of the saved replay footage. How lucky are we to have these experiences!

Good man! Amazing racing and an amazing story, it's actually quite moving to be honest and really takes sim racing to another level.

    Thanks for sharing!

Would Be cool to see an old Series 1/2 Race spec Mazda Rx7 , BDA Escort and maybe other 70’s classics like the Carrera Rs .

Awesome handling cars and prolific in there heydays.

would also like to see a New Zealand track included to extend the Southern Hemisphere feel.
Pukekohe would be great, as Ruapuna is already available in PC2, and Puke is very fast , it would need to be a scanned version though , to capture the bumps that make it so challenging.

I would like to see the trackpack Patrick Girathon once provided for AMS 1 (and of course would pay for it) :), but I guess that is not possible due to problems with licenses.

I waited 2 weeks and just threw together a really complex skyrim setup. wow. Yeh I know - but I use dynamic volumetric lighting now, vivid weathers+truestorms patch, vividian enb, alpine forest for whiterun and green grass for whiterun and folkvangr, jk's whiteurn and solitude expanded incl docks expanded, morning mists, etc - according to a picture that was put up just the other day and a bunch of combat stuff based on smilodon only (around that, still simple) and enaisaion races and magic. ordinator etc. 2020 was clearly a great year for skyrim development. And true armor and simply balanced. So imagine how easy but tricky that was to put together in Mo2 and adjust Papyrus script values from sim settlements performance page acroding to some guys instructions - works great now.

So then I came to this and I was blown away. First turn: I was "omg they fixed it!" At jacarqure sic? 2005 and overtaking a car balls to the wall speed on first turn going wide to do it - and the car was biting. And it was accelerating. So good, great patch and job well done.

I guess all the fine tuning is paying off, and the inertia issue I picked up on ages ago is continually ironed out. I think this is so much fun. It was porsche gt3r. Is this not one of the best cars going for sim racing. I like most cars and yes, get round to them, and I see now there's 2 new ones to try.

Count me in for the next dlc no problems. And thoughtful new widgets mean I do not have to race with telemetry up (which I used quite a bit). Great.

if that widget does or does not flash red like the previous, did not check I am one who does not mind because I try to focus on the road and the noises.

Felt an urge to share this FB album from a recent motor sport festival down here in New Zealand.
it was held at the picturesque Highlands track , where they do run some International GT’s , so this would also be a great edition to the sim . i’m sure Tony Quinn would welcome it .

This album captures what motorsport is all about. Facebook

Hard-pressed I might be tempted to contradict my precious post and suggest a new class.

I'd be delighted to have a group of generic/fictional early/mid-sixties open-wheelers like those in my avatar. I'm thinking nearly identical cigar-shaped F1/F2 spin-offs (pun intended) with 1500cc engines and narrow wheels. Mechanical grip only, ridiculous braking distance and a rather nervous yet tamable rear.

To minimize development efforts and make them look the part, there'd be six variants with the exact same performance but with minor differences in cockpits and in different interior/exterior national colours of the time:

    'Rosso' ('Italian')
    'Green' ('British')
    'Silber' ('German')
    'Azure' ('French')
    'Stripe' (light blue/white stripe 'American')
'Sunny' (white with red sun 'Japanese')

Numbers would be #4 to #99 (because no one gets to be on the podium by default).

    :)

Would have to agree, but it’s got a few different layouts, but lacks a bit of drama. That’s why I’d like to see Pukekohe. It’s short, fast and takes no prisoners.
