Automobilista 2 V1.3.0.0 RELEASED - Now updated to V1.3.0.1

Such a big smile on my face here! The 190E is sensational and that is a car that I really didn't enjoy driving at all for a good while now. Will be sideways at Curvelo for at least the next 2 hours.

 

Not had a chance yet but how is vr? Is it more optimised?

Tried my go to car / track combo P4 / brands and it was amazing. Still using the default FFB, and felt it was much closer to my rf2 experience.

Really impressive update, and quite excited for the new content coming into December.

 

on Azure TT , you start directly against the Guardrail, impossibile to avoid crash...

 

I am likely a poor example since I have a 3080, but to be honest with my G2 it seems improved. I didn’t have fpsvr up but felt smoother with a few hitches when it started to rain hard. I still am holding hope for dlss implementation, I have tried the FSR and that is good, but likely not as good as dlss for me would be.

 

I drove a few laps with F-V10 Gen2, F-Reiza, and F-Ultimate, all with the new default setup. Initial impression is good but F-Ultimate still feels very unpredictable especially in certain fast turns, even a bit of throttle input on corner exit can cause sudden oversteer and send the car into an uncatchable slide.

Corvette GTE car has the TC sound throughout every corner regardless of setting 1-10. I think the TC is just engaging too much on this car, but it could be an audio bug. Setting 0, makes the sound go away.

 

OMG, fifteen minutes in to the new update and this game is now a contender to replace rF2 as my main sim. Thank you Reiza!!

 

Ah, brilliant. You can feel the tyres losing grip in the corners. It’s just so tactile now. I can push it like my own car on a country lane, or my mountain bike on a downhill section. It’s so much better. And those audio cues make the whole thing fizz. 2022 belongs to Reiza.

Update seems all good - thanks for all the hard work.
This is incredibly minor, but just thought I'd point it out.
When setting up an online P2P session, the description for the two new multi-player fields in the "Rules & Regulations" screen, are showing the description for the "Pit Exit Penalty" - which is directly above them. Perhaps this is due to them not having a description of their own, or using a temporary description, but they should either be blanked or updated with something relevant.
Like I said - it's very minor, but you get the same description for the bottom 3 settings.

Of all the cars I tested as of now (all of which have improved massively), the V10 Gen1 has got to take the cake. Absolutely transformed!
