What is the point of announcing a delay once it has occurred? I mean, this was clear to you last week at least. Why communicate it after the date?

 

I'm kind of surprised that so far nobody has made any jokes about how in Brazil the year only starts after carnaval.

 

Chill man. They just put out an apologie and confirmed the update will come out soon. Life is good if this is the biggest problem you have in life.

Why even bother?

 

I have simply asked about something that seems strange to me. I appreciate the communication, but that does not mean that I cannot ask something.

 

Would've been cool to have this info yesterday, but thanks for doing this.

 

Based on what I know from the beta updates, I think (just my assumption) the plan even in the last couple days still was to make the release by now already. Apparently something went wrong in the last minute (or well the last day) and they couldn't make it in time, so there will be another short delay unfortunately. It happens, in my own business the times we couldn't deliver on the promised date due to unforeseen issues (usually serious bugs found during last minute testing) are countless, so I couldn't complain for any other business, as long as we are informed about this.

Btw, personally I like a lot this end of month madness in the forum almost every time, it shows that there is a lot of passion about this sim and this can only be a good thing for all of us! Only meh things cause meh reactions . Still we need to keep it as much respectful to each other as possible of course...

 

one question....short term.. how long we talking? an hour? two hours? 3 days?
been waiting to stream this new content for a month and people getting real antsy..myself included. where i appreciate the update, i feel dropping a n update on the update late really isnt helping.. im sure you guys were aware of this issue at least a day or two ago yeah?
keep up the comminucation, it is appreciated, just try to do it a little earlier?

 

I'm not a huge cheese fan, but while waiting for Reiza updates I like to pass the time by reading the 100+ pages of the outdated FFB recommendation/overview thread that's nearing 2 yrs old.
An interesting read of bipolar opposite opinions and suggestions.

When done and the Update has yet to be released, I move on to trying to improve the base tunes by watching youtube videos....where I find several of the cars I enjoy, the tuning parameters have changed or sections are locked compared to the video.
So, I usually give up and move on to AI reporting which keeps me busy.

So ya, lots of things to keep ya busy while we wait

we get it, you like waiting...after 2 months, im over waiting.. especially to get the worlds most vaugue hint as to when we'll actually see something.. im getting a little sick of stream "will we get an upfate today"....much prefer "NEW UPDATE" streams....as does the community

Guys let's chill for second on hounding the team. They may have more on their plate than we realize. I decided to do some digging as to why something would be hush. And well, I saw this from about 15 hours ago:

I couldn't agree more with that. I think all of us here enjoy AMS2 and appreciate the work of the studio.
But it is evident that the communication fails. If it is a last-minute unforeseen event, it should not take long to solve (one or two hours at most). If, on the contrary, it is something greater, it is very clear that it was known at least since Sunday. It is very good to apologize and it is appreciated, but I repeat, if they had said this yesterday, people would have taken it better
