    Thanks TT, that's very useful info for all, Glad you tried the mini as it would not be a choice for me. Theres probably other class's that other members prefer but have not done the wet/dry comparison. Sure hope wet/dry boots are up top of list to sort out amongst the other stuff.
    I will skip the v8! and may have time to try something else in meantime.

    Don’t forget the Aussies in that list. We’re pretty developed and knowledgeable in the land down under mate. Ditto on oval racing - currently using the VRC formula NA in AC in both oval and road trim. Absolutely brilliant but it’s missing full course yellows and the strategies that make long oval racing fun. I wonder how this will work in MP with first corner smash and quit opponents :whistle:

    Speaking of oval racing, Emplemon's video on NASCAR "Revenge" is a good watch. They have a bit of a "rough & tumble" attitude of racecraft.

    I have noted 2 times by now, that global politics don't belong to this thread. Same for other extremely off-topic convos like global catastrophies and personal offenses, which don't make this place a very pleasant one to be in. It's just not the heavy environment, required to allow such convos in a forum thread, that is about a video game release cycle.

    We understand, that the current topics are in need to be discussed somewhere and that there is a lot of sh** happening on the world (affecting so many areas), but these release topics aren't the right place!

    I decided to tidy the thread up a little bit, like warned in advance.

    If you REALLY need to discuss these topics, better do it via PM group. But be aware, that such topics can lead to fights over personal differences in forums very quickly between people, that could've been friends in the real world face to face!

    Stating your opinions on the game, sim racing, a bit of joking/meme-ing: Okay here!

    Discussing global politics/world catastrophies/regional issues/approaching others with offensive attitude: Doesn't belong here!

    I'm asking again:
    Is it really necessary to ask for a more level headed handling of the end/beginning of the month transitions all the time?

    Please calm down a bit and aim for a more harmonic, less snarky and less hostile environment! And please don't discuss these heavy global topics in a video game related platform, that bears dangers of misunderstanding to start with.

    Thank you very much for reading, you may continue discussing here now, but please follow the mentioned points!

    I’ve assumed that the dev post will drop on Thursday, I cant see Reiza wanting their big news update to be drowned out by the noise that is Gran Turismo 7, which is released on Friday

    the next update will already be drowned out by GT7 lol im half shocked this wasnt planned around. People can also keep disliking everything i say on here, its pretty funny, especially given how true what im saying is and each day more people seem to realise it when they contact me saying so LUL

    I wonder if your post disliking is linked to a constant whinge and moaning Reiza did this wrong, Reiza did that wrong...

    Also Reiza hasn't planned around Elden Ring, Fall Guys or any other game with their previous releases. How foolish! GT7 is on PlayStation. A platform that doesn't even feature AMS2 yet...

    Let your imagination run wild...that Reiza is some big corporation with marketing staff scheming and planning release dates to out-do competitors or not be overshadowed. Reality: everything we get is given as soon as is humanly possible with little to no attention paid to the broader industry. AMS 2 is closer to a passion project than a "revenue centre." We get every patch, update and new content as soon as it is ready...and often just a bit before that, because sharing is caring :)

    Software development is hard to plan. Ams2 is like artwork, and art cannot be rushed.

    So, whenever the new update drops is anyone going to setup an online lobby at Road America where instead of racing people will simply park their cars at the kink to watch the train pass?
