Are all F-USA Gen1 cars supposed to have the exact same specs?
I remember with F-USA Gen2 they initially had the exact same specs but that was fixed later in an update.

I don't believe IndyCar or CART got full paddles and auto-blip until 2007-2008.

    CART 2006

    IndyCar 2007

Spectacular update!! I like the adjustable side mirrors. And I am so glad they add the ability to adjust the seat in VR and World Scale...it's very convenient. As for the USA Formula Gen 1, it's going to be one of my favorite formula cars beside Gen 2. The cars seems to have better physics than other Gen...there is a lot more feedbacks if you ever drive in a motion rig and I like the bigger side mirrors. Maybe my mind is fooling me, but I feel the overall cars of all the cars seem to improve in physics and also better crash and damage. I haven't played with the ICM yet, but it looks promising.

Edit: Oh i forgot to mention. One negative I have about the update is in regard to the braking sound. Why does it make a squeaking noise every time you do a hard brake? Is this normal? I think that should be removed.

I thought I heard that, but wasn’t mentioned in blog.
I find it quite realistic and a nice addition albeit with limited testing.

Nah, the sound is like that of nail scratching a chock board. I don't know...it doesn't sound realistic to me. And why is every car making the same braking sound though? It doesn't make sense.

I'm glad brake squeal is added, its actually been there for quite some time, i just would like not all cars to have it and maybe some cars could get reduced squeal as the brakes come to temp.
I really want more audio to come, more and better dirt pickup, chassis and rattles, better curb sounds and more. Brake squeal is a beginning and i'm glad we have it.

It would be nice if we could cycle through the different Strategies without the need to open the ICM menu
    - or -
The old ICM menu wasn't perfect but i could make it work with Crew-Chief macros, Can you make the ICM menu open in a default state so I can use macros again ?

well it should really only be certain cars with race style brakes etc, so if it’s every car then that not ideal.
And generally this sound should reduce once brakes are up to temp.
But it’s not far from the sound you would expect from cold race brakes .

For those wanting to use cc macros to interact with the ICM, I'll have a look tonight to see if there's anything I can do. Because it now remembers where it was last time it was opened it's going to be very hard to keep cc in sync with the menu. Macros might still work if they always put the menu cursor back to its original position after doing their work.

That list of "simple" fixes looks like about 2 man years of work to me, as a non-game developer of 30 years experience.

That is exactly the problem, It would be nice the ICM menu always opens in a default state,
If you want to control this with the macro itself, you also have to click back to the "macro-default" position with any manual adjustments, It would be nice if the game arranged that.

Does the menu cursor wrap (up/down or left/right) if you keep pressing the navigation buttons, or does it reach the end and stop?

    Up/Down wraps.
    Strategy/Tyres/Pitstop wrap.
The others stop at each end.

Best thing beside the F-USA Gen.1 cars is definitely the VR improvement.
Adjusting the mirrors is the thing I have waited for.
Racing in VR gets more and more perfect with AMS2 now !
And of course... the Hype Train is great to view in VR (Video Link below)
    Need. More. Videos! C'mon guys!

It wraps where i want it to stop, If it stops I could the macro find a start-point by adding the maximal up/down or left/right steps ever needed to go back to a "macro-default" position

If it wraps then I think cc macros will.be broken and remain broken untill something is added to shared memory to allow cc to know what the menu state is, sorry guys
