    The ICM is definitely so much easier and quicker to use now. It now makes me want to do some racing that would require pitstops and changes to strategies if something happens (e.g. unexpected rain, don't repair small damage, or changing minds to actually risk no tyre swap and just add fuel). I found doing that too much of hassle with the old ICM, where I would often mess up a corner as it took so long to fiddle with it on a straight.

    It is also great to finally be able to adjust the mirrors in VR. I tried it on the P3 Roco last night and I was no longer terrified of being taken out by a car that I couldn't see behind me, since I had a clear view. It would be cool if there was an option in the graphics settings to allow the user to have their own car reflected in the side mirrors, since we can now adjust them. I don't know if that would be quite difficult to implement and also graphically taxing though (iirc it takes a bit of performance when enabling that option in CM for AC for example).

    Thanks Reiza - don't feel let down at all by this patch. Gen 1 is brilliant. I want to do more than 10 laps in a race - still begging really begging for a save button now. I just did a 10 lapper after qual and practice and had a blast after I got my wretched Rift S to work properly.

    Really loving this patch.

    I've been trying all gens, and gens 1 and 2 sound great, gen 3 apparently din't make the cut and still sound like previous to the update, no turbo, etc.

    .... and again a lot of updates and improvements (thanks for that) ,
    and again not a single improvement of the multiplayer mode
    ... just sad and frustrating :(

    Figured I would drop this here, the chassis paint job issues is something I hadn't considered and hopefully they can fix in due time. Otherwise though looks like great fun

    Explanation of my disagree;
    There was no need to fiddle with the the ICM menu, I could prepare my strategies and bind them to a button in CC (Crew-Chief)
    With the New ICM the need to fiddling starts (until I find a solution to bind my strategies to buttons again)

    I am sceptical about MP. AMS2 will never have the great MP mode I am afraid. Just my opinion. AI is not great either so lets hope some of these 2 aspects will get better

    I like the update - cars feel great. Just did an MP race in a GT3 (LOL) best and closest in a long time. Can really feel the car slipping underneath if it is given too much. Mind you I did delete all of my previous setups and just went with the Reiza defaults.

    Disagree the previous ICM was too small and cumbersome. Much easier to manage now and see.

    Maybe there was no need to modify the ICM for those who use Crew Chief, but for the others, it is 100 times better now.

    The CARTS of 95 and 2000 feel heavy as tanks in my wheel. As they just have ~ 700 kg, they feel heavier as the GT3 cars with ~1300 kg (same FFB stettings). Is it supposed to be like that?

    Oh I didn't know that was possible. I can see why you would prefer the other one so. Hopefully you can find a solution. I thought I had still seen an option to cycle between defined strategies at the top of the new ICM. I had only played around with it quickly so I can't fully remember.

    Weirdly enough the 95 Reynard feels lighter in it's FFB on my rig than the other F-USA cars. It still feels good, just different.

    It's interesting how different the cars feel across the three generations. The 95 cars are almost easier to handle with the drop in power, but have significantly less grip. The 98's are absolute unhinged monsters, and the 2000's feel more precise and refined.

    14:40 is my biggest grip with AI. They do get slipstream, but they don't overtake.
