Yeah, we're checking this. Custom Skins apparently don't apply correctly it seems.

The shadow AA could definitely use a bump up.

    I think I'm in heaven...

So anyway, tried every one of the updated cars out and the feeling since this little update is amazing- the F-V12 has that delightful squirmishness back, the Classics and V10s are more connected with the road, and the F-USAs feel adequately terrifying to drive now :p

One suggestion for the future MP would be daily template sessions in the MP browser that serve up "daily race" sessions configs that players can launch or join with a click. The car/track combos change each day but the other session parameters are fixed sensible sprint race options (10mQ/20mR). Gives the players quick, playable options to pick and come together with minimal hassle. You don't have to check how each lobby is setup before joining, or think about creating a session and hoping you get the critical mass of players.

Which update was that 1 year ago?
Ive today tried to go to 442 but with my base the Fanatec control panel keeps closing if my base is powered on, i managed to update the v3 pedals but my base is still on the old 381.

I'm really not sure anymore, which one it was, it's a while ago. I'm right now in "never change a running system mode" with my drivers, i'm not touching them anymore as long as i'm happy. :D

    Hi Reiza!

This is a real step forward for the SV8! Congrats!
Now the basis has a lot of potential but the default setup could be better.

I have a settings that improves the car 100%, if anyone wants to check:

    - Front caster: 17,5 (this is the real game changer. Reduce the FFB gain if it gets too hard)
    - steering rate: 14
    - Brake bias: 62%
    - Brake power 80%
    - Longitudinal weight distrib: full front
    - Front TOE: -0.1
    - Fr ARB: 12
    - Rr ARB 9
    - FR spring:8
    - Rr Spring:9
    - Fr DAMP Slow comp: 8
    - Fr DAMP Slow reb: 6
    - Rr DAMP slow Comp: 10
    - Rr DAMP slow Reb: 9
    - Rear wing: 10

With that, the car is super enjoyable to drive.

No problems here. I updated today as well. Everything went smooth during the update.

Can you go through the steps you took to upgrade? Maybe its the v2.5 base being newer than my v2.

Maybe it's just my long-lasting, arguably weird fixation on damage models in games (my 550 hours in BeamNG had to have come from somewhere, I suppose), but the revamped modelling for the Opala really puts it up a couple notches for me personally

When in doubt fresh install. Uninstall older version completely, reboot with wheel OFF, Install new drivers, reboot again with wheel OFF, then, turn wheel on and run the control panel. Every now and then the updates cause the control panel glitch for me.

Sometime switching between pc-mode and xbox-mode and back fixes it on the fly.

note fanalab 1.65.5 does not create the XML folder required to run and will just die with no warning.
you need to manually create this folder

    C:\Users\YOUR_USER_ACCOUNT\AppData\Local\Fanatec\FanaLab\xml

    Hi all
What does the blue star mean against some cars?
Thanks in advance if you can help.
    Best wishes

Blue star next to cars and tracks means it is DLC content

this 1.3.7.1 update has fixed the dark reflections observed on some tracks for AMD GPU users like me, all back to normal from the little testing I have done this morning

@CrimsonEminence Just a quick thing I noticed today when watching the AI in qualifying in chase cam, there seems to be some kind of bug with the shadows on the rear of the CLK LM. It seems to be a flickering shadow below the wing. I first thought it might be of the trees near the trackside but the other GT1s don't seem to have it.

Ummm off topic but yah know,,,, what do u guys think? Should I wait for oval racing and pray a nascar comes to AMS2 or just start spending on iRacing???

also i love taking a nascar road racing and imo.. AMS2 has the most potential for that but I’m just praying at this point
