    Avoid accusations please. ;)

Keep it easy guys, you can hint somebody a misconception without that.

Well, after playing F1 22 in VR I can say my preference remains towards AMS2. Somehow there is more connection to the road and machine. Could be a FF thing.

The only "triggered" person I am seeing is you, reacting this badly to a pretty obvious F1 joke.

I just tried to play F122 in VR and it's a complete mess! Just saying, AMS2 is the undisputed VR champion for F1 right now and I'd love to see Reiza take full advantage of that....

    I agree.

But in order to Reiza bring that public in, they would have to add many tracks of the current calendar, full F1 rules and fix MP. I don't think F1-games users care much about physics, FFB or realism... otherwise they wouldn't be playing them.

Not that AMS/AMS2/iRacing/AC/ACC/rF2/RRRE are close to reality, but definitely they are not as far as the arcade-like Codemasters F1 games.

maybe that's why they are not developers in the first place? I'd be a laughing stock being a plumber. that doesn't mean I don't expect my plumber to know his job.

2025, more than 2 years later. I installed the game and the option was not there. Yes, it is a long term project. But, the possibility to see my laptimes at the end of the race should not be the basic? Maybe the option is there and i am really really missing something (where is this?). And, before the "empty moaning" thing start, its an example. I could use a lot of things that makes me disapointed at this point, but this one... I somehow remember I made a question about it years ago. No hope, just moaning, maybe empty, i have to admit.

that would be really crazy, the level they did bring the madness engine is very good signal of quality work, it was always a good engine, but they tweaked it and continue to improve it, IMO, AMS2 is currently running on top of the best engine, graphics quality && performance wise, AMS2 is probably the current best shot for a long therm project, next is probably AC EVO as they are also back to their own engine.

Madness Engine is amazing, best one, I did steal some bullet points from another page:
    • Cross platform engine currently supporting Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, Xbox One, PS4, and PC
    • Built specifically for multi-core and multi-processor architectures
    • Optimised to maximise the capabilities of each target platform
    • Automated tool chains built for distributed development
    • Advanced AI with decision making, finite state machines and custom behaviours
    • Advanced physics system for world physics, characters and objects with NVIDIA PhysX support
    • One of the most advanced vehicle physics/driving dynamics systems on the planet.
    • Fully featured, state of the art rendering system
    • Realistic depth of field and motion blur
    • HDR lighting and displacement maps, per-vertex, per-pixel and volumetric lighting
    • Radiosity, lightmapping, gloss maps, and cutting edge anisotropic lighting
