Hmmm, Steam must have sensed how excited I am about the Lancer finally receiving some love there...
It's taking its sweet time with 168mb worth of files for Pete's sake.

I think it's grand that the updates keep coming like this, breathes new life into the whole experience.
I know lots of people that will be grateful for the "new" Fusca. It draws crowds in community racing too.

"Added real weather data for Buenos_Aires, Cordoba and Termas Rio Hondo"
I'm quite new to the game so I'm in doubt to what exactly is real weather data, I have to select some option some where to use it or it's enabled by default?

When you select the amount of weather slots, there is one more selection left of 1, Real Weather. Depending on the date and time, the game will check for the weather data on OpenWeatherMap, interpret it and apply it to the game.

I fear it's starting to get cliche for me to end up saying this with every update but wow, the updated cars are absolutely amazing now! Gonna have to reinstall AMS1 to compare because now the AMS2 cars feel just as good as I remember them being back then

Starting to feel this way about some cars too... in the case of the Porsche Cup I'm thinking it might be even better now than what I remember from the Boxer Cup in AMS1. And I loved the Boxer.

Not sure whether it's placebo because I just downloaded all the skins for the 1983 f1 season or because of the update, but the F-Retro Gen3 finally feels close to what I would have imagined them to feel like.

Bit on the fast side though, compared to real life.

Nah, I was not driving like a madman and still lapping 1-2 seconds quicker than 1983's qualifying record on Montreal. I always go for very stable setups in order to be able to push more.

Yeah, they've improved a lot this update, they have a lot more bite to them now on the default setups (still plenty understeery of course, but not hideously so anymore, pretty much the amount expected with this era)
    Same with the Procar actually

Fast by how much please, and where? I'm curious to find out where I end up as I plan to give 'm a good ol' go.

Sorry, just missed above post. A couple seconds quick at Montreal? I must try...
F-classic gen.2's for example I found to be spot on the historic pace. Always interesting... Love classic Montreal for these purposes.

1:30.851 fastest lap by P. Tambay in 1983
1:31.300 by yours truly, that's close enough imo.
These cars are sick now! It's not placebo or anything.
I'm looking at my car in the pits as it's covered in dirt, the detail and the chalk-markings on it are the icing on the visual cake.

Agree on the feeling, this is what I'd hoped for with these cars.

As for the time ... I did high 26 to high 27, but not fueled to the brim, so I compared to qualifying pace, but it was still faster than that.

It's not a huge issue though; times are a fickle thing anyway.

Yes, it can easily be explained away looking at what was in effect at the time in terms of regulations, and did they use special quali-engines(I really miss those days), refuelling ban, etc.

For the F-classic gen.2 for example real times were 1:21.xxx quali, and much slower in race because massive fuel load... Like 1:27 if that. In your typical 10 lap race or so I do a 1:23.xxx which to me makes perfect sense.

It's insane how well they've made this come to life in terms of feel and handling. Enjoy!

Just realised: did the file size get cut down? Maybe my memory's just messing with me but I could swear the game was pushing into the high 70s before (If it has then that's a good thing, I should add)

Both main release and beta are the same here, ive never sorted them in size before, crazy that DR2 is 110GB

Oh yeah, people need to stop getting so offended by words  Who cares if someone says something, its usually because they are melting themselves, let them melt.

Yeah DR2's file size is obscene, in all honesty, but I guess at least it has the content level to back it up (unlike F1 2021's inexplicable 88GB)

If you never drive rallyross you can save some GB by deleting the tracks and cars

Good night friends ! I was racing GT4 in Suzuka and some cars show up like this...

    P.S. I don't use custom skin
P.S.2: Thanks for the excellent work!

Thanks for update guys. The F3 AI are still a bit overpowered (only in the dry) in my opinion, but I mainly put that down to the F3 itself being so horrendous to drive for the player. Interesting about the DR posts above, because the F3 behaves like a rally car at the moment :)
