Great comparison video. Only I think that left curb in Les Combes chickane should be a little bit higher: I can see that cars are destabilzed when line over that curbe is taken, while in AMS2 version of track I can go over it like it is not there.

Echo/deflection sounds near walls/ barriers are spot now very natural big thanks to devs good part of the update

 

Don't wanna get anyones hopes up, but ive just got a 135.5mb update to AMS2, seems rather large for just the usual multiplay stats update you get after every time you've gone on line, is'nt that usually just kb's?

I did'nt think so because the version nmber never changed. I think i've figured out what it might be though. I had a couple of crashes with the game and had to validate 8 files, so its propbably those files that were re-downloaded. I must say, for all thats great about this last update it has come with more bugs (combination of new ones and old ones that resurfaced with this update) than any so far, Have had to to do the file validation thing several times since. Tires poping off the Indy cars for no reason, mirrors not working in VR, open wheel cars tires sinking through the ground, Caterhams having tires floating off the ground etc. hope these get addressed in the next update. Have to say aswell though that the Copa Classics are bloody excellent now, as are many other cars (97% of them actually), best they've ever been!

 

If you are doing data validation on steam many times because files get screwed up when you play, then probably your SSD is failing.

 

Good point, but its only happening with AMS2, plus the SSD is only 2 years old.

 

Maybe your pc is haunted by a ghost which doesn’t like AMS2
