    Cars are all about economics... videogames are all about economics... videogames about cars are 2x economics lol

    But, seriously, understanding current economics is understanding great part of why a game is made/commercialized the way it is.

    The release threads have distinct and predictable phases:
    1. Gushing praise for the new content and improvements
    2. Bug reports
    3. Complaints that the historic content was not included and that bug X which is an 'easy fix that has been around since forever' was not fixed.
    4. Requests to "fix multiplayer" / discussion on why MP numbers are too low
    5. Cars and tracks wish list
    6. Cheese
    7. It's the end of the month, where is the next update? Why aren't the devs communicating?
    8. Whatever off topic thing that comes to mind
    We're currently at Phase 8.

    Actually.. One of the best books in literature about cheese is from Willem Elsschot. It's named 'Cheese', of course.

    I do own this book in its native language, and to be honest it's one of the best literature I've read.
