You seem to be confused. The point was you waded in arguing for something no one is arguing against. Everyone wants the filters you were asking for, the argument you inserted yourself into pointlessly was that some people were saying the option should be removed entirely, which would be dumb. It wasn't exactly confusing dude.

 

English is not my first language dude, so i am sorry if i misread something or i was a jerk. I didnt think i was participating in an argument but a discussion in an open forum. Are we not allowed to give an opinion if we weren't already part of a discussion? I didnt agree with something and i posted an opinion. Is this not the point of the website? My personal reading was that something was suggested by another member. Other members where hostile to the guys opinion. I thought you both had merit. I offered an opinion as well. Owning a 3090Ti means never worrying about fps problems.

 

I was thinking along similar lines with my very first Voodoo 3D accellerator

 

I thought so when I bought my 3090, but I am now considering a 4090
Triple 1440p and/or VR is quite demanding...

 

I wouldn't say never but 24gb of vram and 10000 cores will last you a very long time especially as gaming is stagnating at a limit of development.

 

If your made of money then just wait for a 4090 ti if it's released.

Exactly. I have a G-Sync monitor and I want my video card to work with any games from Day 1 with good driver support.

 

I wouldn't say Nvidia has good drivers and you can use gsync on a AMD card.

Great stuff. Whats happeneing with the performance issues when the cars lights come on, any soloution for that in the works?

The FPS loss in VR when driving in the dark is a huge problem that needs to be fixed.
Its been like this for years and its overlooked in every update.
Im sure this game has a big VR playerbase that would love a fix to this problem.
We know the issue has to do with the cars headlights.

 

Maybe the next update will fix VR and MP? Big update on what people want before v1.5?

 

I really hope this is not the case but perhaps we should consider the possibility that there is nothing that can be done. Perhaps the simulation is simply too much for current computers to handle. I dont know but the silence of the developer might be the answer to the question. I have suspected that many of the problems we post about are ignored by staff and this may simply mean theres nothing they can do. The staff actually responds to very few posts about technical problems like this, they seem to prefer helping us with in game issues. Look at the bug thread. Hundreds of pages and very few official responses. Its weird they choose not to communicate with us on these matters but there may be a reason for it.

For what its worth, i wish it could be fixed as well. I dont use vr but as soon as headlights come out, my performance is mimimal as well. I just wouldnt hold your breath my friend. It may require computer technology to advance to run the game to its full abilities. I do wish the developers would share what equipment they use for testing. Its hard to believe they would release the game like this after working so hard on weather. Perhaps their equipment runs the game optimally?

 

I think VR performance issues could be due to PC performance, but certain things we say they may not be able to answer, but fix it instead
