Yes but theres plenty of material online in-case the in-game info is too brief. Heres an (iracing) guide to diffs that should be relevant to ams2 as well 5.7: Differential basics

Thank You. So if I wanted to understand something even better I can use a website based upon a different sim?

All the sims are all trying to simulate the same thing (motor racing and vehicle dynamics) so the setup options theoretically should have a similar effect in each sim.

Although I would be careful as the other sims dont come close to the complexity of some of the stuff in ams2 so their resources may not work for ams2.

If you want to watch a fan-guide made by someone who went on to become an ams2 physics dev explain how to setup ams2 cars, watch this

I wonder if Reiza will add vehicle specific setup changes like brake migration and other similar things in modern formula cars. Just look at what the Mercedes W12 has in Iracing. Would also hope for aero balance calculator and maybe user manual for all the cars so people could understand them better. Even if it was just an excel file it would be very helpful

Its insane the detail that iracing can put into some of their cars. I feel though that the time that devs have to spend adding a feature like that would only lead to an incremental improvement in the vehicle. Improved ERS was something I was begging for years on here for, so I was delighted when I got it.

I understand it needs a huge amount of time. Maybe these features could be later. Mostly think aero balance should be available.

has a fan of the game made a sheet of all specific info about the different cars?

I do want to see things like the rear lights flashing during wet racing or ers harvesting as per fia regulation.

Closest thing we have is Categories but the guy who made it also became a reiza physics dev and is too busy to update it

We will just have to wait until AMS2 grows enough so people who have the time could do These lists

    Is this what you mean?

Automobilista 2 - Extended Car Info Spreadsheet

Or do you mean a Setup Guide, there are several on internet

And some cars already have car specific features like the extra break on the McLaren MP4/12 and the Weight Jacker on some IndyCars

but we should be aware that RL the 6 clutch LSD is the most common. So that should be the best option. not a 70's 4 clutch meant for engines with 300N/m

Have "Radio Subtitles" been removed from the Gamplay?

Yes there were never active for ams2 as reiza didn't get the license for the voices. But maybe Reiza will record new lines for the spotter as the functionality is extant. But anyways I think most people just use crewchief.

Thank you for the spreadsheet. Is there one for tire temperatures and pressures or is it roughly the same for all cars?

No, there is no "one tire pressure to rule them all".

Hello, I tested again some GT4, M4, McLaren and Ginetta on the Nurburgring 24h version and I found them very pleasant in their behavior. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to ride, otherwise I would always be spinning because I had so much fun. Nothing to complain about on my side.

Use Crew Chief. Much better option.

Suzuka is also a very specific track. My experience in AMS2 with that track is that it is exaggeratedly slippery with al the consequences. Driving the same car in a different track for me always yields extremely different feelings.

Suzuka is generally more slippery than other tracks. It's the same way in ACC and Aris explained that the asphalt in Suzuka is just more slippery than the asphalt on other tracks. If it's the same in AMS2, that's a good thing :)

Yes, different track grip levels are a thing in AMS2 now. (Suzuka indeed one of the more slippy ones)
