That metallic version was always there together with the original white one, well, at least since I bought AMS2.

When driving fast cars on Spa 70 (gave it a try with F_Classic Gen 3), the AI is causing huge carnage on several parts of the track by ramming each others.

Edit: Did a race with full grid now, fuel consumption=realistic, tyre wear=authentic. AI pitted after every 4-6 laps, although they could carry fuel for much more laps and tyre wear is not extreme on this track. Above that, only one managed to finish the race, the other 20 drivers had a DNF because of some sort of crash with damage set to 100%. They just do their odd old thing, ramming instead of overtaking.

Okay, good to know, hopefully the steering weight is something that might get looked at then.

Yep this is like a trainer car, a bit like the Skip Barber in RF2. That open diff causes so much L.O.O. that it teaches/forces you to be either on the throttle or the brakes, as your most likely to loose it in this car whilst coasting.

You chose the releasecandidate branch in the dropdown and steam starts to update the game to this build (right now about 2.something GB). After that you can run the game in RC build.

Check in the thelemetry screen if you can see a short blip in the accelerator bar if you downshift without heel and toe. If it is there then the sequential is doing the H&T by itself. At least that is what sequentials are doing in general. Therfore in general I would say that H&T is only needed with manual and clutch.

Feel free to correct me. Greatings

The steering on this car is light in RF2 aswell, alot lighter than the C70, so I think maybe that's how it is IRL

The steering will be less heavy than the M8 pretty likely yes. But it's pretty light right now, when i use a 30 cm rim. With a 28 cm Formula rim its more reasonable but still on the light side also what steering feel concerns. Certainly also personal preference, but i have forwarded it nevertheless.

I'll preface this by saying that I have done very limiting testing so far following the candidate release, but here are my current observations after an hour or two of racing:

    - Black screen when using ALT + TAB (Was an issue in the previous release and still appears to be present in the new update. You have to close and re-open to fix it)

    - AI urgent lateral movement is still very much a game breaker in all scenarios of the sim for offline racing. The sudden abrupt behaviour for the AI to turn, battle or align with the racing line really kills the immersion, especially when the car just snaps into place. Would love for AMS2 AI to be more lifelike in terms of motion and the way the car moves. I keep seeing that this is being improved upon but when I test it out, it's still really poor compared to other games (e.g. rF2 or iRacing AI)

    - AI still use the grass and dirt like it's part of the track every single lap, subsequently resulting in the track turning into a rally. I wrote about this in an earlier post but I imagine the reason why they're not currently experiencing the slipperiness of the grass or the tendency to get stuck in the dirt is because it would simply break the game. The current AI logic does not allow for the AI to navigate the road, anticipate a turning and battle without going over the grass/dirt/curbs consistently, so you would just have races where every lap the AI is spinning, DNFing or getting a penalty = which is not an ideal experience.

I'm honestly surprised point 3 is still an issue given how long the game has been out now, it's a pretty significant issue. Even with aggression set as low, I regularly see cars bashing against each other all bunched up and using the grass and dirt as the road - with no consequence whatsoever.
