Build 2216 is now live - this is a hotfix for minor content adjustments, no change in version number as exe has remained the same.
    • Revised loose wheel stress thresholds on all AMDM enabled cars
    • Opala Old Stock: corrected Short Oval car loading on Speedway, corrected Speedway car loading on Short Oval
    • Adjusted FFB max force for F-USA Gen2 Swift & Corvette GTP
    • F-Retro Gen2&3 (all models): Corrected rear wing error causing cars to lose downforce in higher wing settings
    • F-Classic (all gens): Revised fuel consumption and fuel density so fuel weighs more per liter, but consumption per liter is less
    • Adjusted F-Classic Gen3 fuel tank sizes (220l for M1, 205L for M2, 200 for M3)
    • indianapolis_2022: Corrected LOD on static objects for both layouts.
    • Spa 1970: Added more spruce tree texture variety to reduce repetitiveness, added vertex AO for some bushes and crowds, tweaked houses AO, fixed hole in the terrain at La Source; Adjusted physical mesh road bumps

If you go to the weather settings and look at the setting which is lowest on the screen. It changes how rubbered in the circuit is and how grippy it will be. A question for the masses, can we change the temperature?

180 opposite exact ! unbeleivable.. I drive throught a steering wheel for almost 20 years and i consider myself as pretty good. I started GTR1, GTR2, Richard Burns rally at the time... etc. I am near 45years old and i research the great feeling behind my wheel. I tell you, today with 1.4.3.3 update, this game (which i was totally in love with during the past few months) has become almost arcade to me. I don't give up and yes, i will test to roll back the version to see if it is better. I am very sad today

More grip means more speeeeed !!
In the real world, it also comes with more rolling resistance and thus higher fuel consumption, etc. - I'm not sure if that's simulated :)

How much of a difference to fuel consumption does roll resistance make?

Neither did Max Verstappen when he entered F1 ;)

Not saying anything about whether I like his (GM) type of videos though, as usually I don't.

Oh yeah mate, blanket, bottle of wine, tent, full works, I could happily camp out for a night on the Reiza tracks, so much to see!:):D
Nah in all seriousness I watch the animated crowd folk when I'm leaving the pits in practice in VR at Daytona in a practice session, and yes I have indeed slowed down to Sunday drive pace on a test day at Spa, just to look at the cows, reminds me of walking across the greens in Cambridge!

@CrimsonEminence , think this is a bug/mistake...the Formula Classic Gen3 Model3 no longer has adjustable rollbars.

It finally drives good again! No weird vague FFB :D:D:D
The problem with way too high FFB force seems to have been transmitted to the Formula Classic G3M2 now though (not sure about the other models, haven't tested yet)

I completely disagree. I have driven many super cars in real life, and I assure you that hot tyres on a sunny day has PLENTY of grid. Perhaps, reduce the tarmar settings and reduce the weather temperature and use cold tires... you will AMS2 cars gets get slippery like other sims.

I've been using wheels since the first Gran Turismo. So well over 20 years.

Now that I think of it, I remember playing Rally Championship and Gran Prix 2 more than 20 years ago in a wheel, God I'm getting old.

Track temp and rubber progression has a massive effect on grip. I've beaten PR/WR times in quali sessions simply because the temps, rubbering, and fuel aligned for the perfect conditions. Just the change of a few degrees can change what driving styles are more effective.
