I don't think you can directly do that.

You need to change to winter date and set the time to early morning or past evening. Choosing a track in/on/at the northern hemisphere should help too.

edit: in the norther, on the northern, at the northern. I can never get those right.

hmmm, I meant proper FFB wheels for proper simulators. If I go by the above standards I've been using wheels since the Megadrive Daytona days. those don't count.

Oh, I get it, yeah mine didnt have FFB, but i think FFB wheels exists from a bit before the year 2000.
And hey, GP2 was a proper simulator :D.

My first ffb wheel was for GT3 at 2001, still over 20 years ago. What is a proper simulator is a discussion I don't care much because everyone has their own opinion on that.

Edit. I mean the wheel, can't remember the manufacturer, was sold as a bundle with GT3.

My first FFB wheel was the Thrustmaster TX in 2017. I got it when I was 13.

20 years ago you had the famous Logitech Momo, etc but I am sure it all started getting better with Logitech G25/DFGT.. Then you got G27, Fanatec, Thrustmaster coming up. T300, TX, T500, etc etc. CSW 1, CSW 2, CSW 2.5. etc etc. Then poof around 2016 Bodnar DD was a thing. Cost like 3500 or so. Slowly but surely we come to 2022 now DDwheels are the mainstream.

My first wheel was a Thrustmaster T2. Had to splice the rubber band several times! :D

In its day, Jacques Villeneuve’s Reynard-Cosworth from a carset downloaded from the US Pits felt as immersive in 1995 as the F-USA Gen-1 feels with a carset from RaceDepartment in 2022. I recall many exciting dial-up modem races comprised of full fields of a few buddies and filler AI. Yesteryear’s Indycar Racing only suffers in direct, head-to-head comparisons to AMS2 in the present day.

The ACT Labs Force RS was at least 20 years ago. That wheel had strong FFB for the time and was extremely durable. The pedals were some of the worst I've ever played with though.

I wish I would've picked up a Sidewinder wheel back then, I tried some racing games and just couldn't get into them with a keyboard/mouse.

My first FFB wheel was a Microsoft Sidewinder, don't know the exact model. That was back in 2001.
I used to own all the Microsoft Sidewinder FFB gimmicks back then around 2000. The FFB stick with Sims like Jane's F/A18 and Jane's World War II Fighters, the FFB Wheel with the Collin McRae Rally titles and Grand Prix Legends. Back then a 800Mhz Pentium III with 64MB RAM and a Geforce 256 running on Windows 98SE was enought.
