Using MSAA, wanted to do comparisons like for like with my old system that I gave to my 10 year old as his early Xmas prezzie.

I've settled on mostly high settings with SMAA and super sampling at medium. I have way less fuzzy texturing going on with car logos and trackside logos. Performance isn't as good in terms of FPS, but the hit I took is well worth it and I am still get close to 100 in replays/monitor with poor weather.

Think of all the virtual CHEESE we'd get with that!

Sorry if this is a silly question...
    Where are the supersampling options?

Not silly, easily missed. If you have MSAA on then it won't show up. If you turn MSAA off and turn FXAA or SMAA on just below it, you get the option for super sampling just below that in the performance menu.

Did the same spa test again tonight but this time starting at front of grid, minimum fps was 155 so 40 less than starting at back, a sizable drop but obviously still good fps. AMS2 really could use do with DLSS or AMDs version whose name escapes me atm. It would really help those who get a lot lower fps due to headlights, thunderstorms etc.

I’m not sure why you would want that. Race cars don’t use glass windscreens in real life, so they shouldn’t be able to “shatter” like they do in Assetto Corsa or Forza. The lexan or polycarbonate windscreens can break, but it’s usually in two or three really big pieces and it usually takes a rollover to do that.

Could it not be car dependant? For example, historic racers or road cars that use glass should shatter while more modern ones either retain their lack of damage or break

There are some odd things going on with the physics of this car for sure but that, thats just epic! Think its time Reiza entered the Caterham into Strictly Come Dancing, by the looks of this picture its definately up for a Tango!:D

Agreed. and we have road cars ams2
Pc2 had many discussions on the glass that should be poly and the distraction like the 917 example showed in prior post.
Though ams2 are indestructible as minor observation.
Maybe at some point we will have them pop out ie gt3 below and some damage below.

I like the idea of the pop-out, for vehicles where it is appropriate. I hope the wind screen can function as a "dangling part" if hit or crushed...but, as usual, will depend if Madness Engine already anticipated that or whether it requires a bunch of coding. We know it already has cracked glass that was over-used in certain past titles ;)

I was thinking of your Caterham tests when I took the VRC Auriel 90 for a thrash round the Nordschleife ( AMS2 | ARC - Auriel 90 GTO - VRC ). It...er...gets a little bit light at the front as it crests at Flugplatz.
