@Tarmac Terrorist calm down man, be sure there are other who don't agree with you.

Let's try to see where the problem may be via numbers.

Maximum lockstop strength is exactly the same as it was before: ie 100% FFB output.
Instead of them eating 10% of usable steering range, it's now shifted outside of this range, and comes in more gradually.

If you can steer clear thru it, something isn't right.

    So, numbers:
    1) Post your in game FFB settings
    2) Post you Fanatec settings (all of them to save us a hassle).
    3) Observe in game how lockstop behaves parked still - report
    4) Observe in game how lockstop behaves during regular cornering and oversteering - report here.

Is Reiza going to update the F-Ultimate to have underfloor neon lights like in the pic/video below? :)

I can feel the zone starting, but can turn easy through the resistance, wheel wants to spring back to the point where the zone starts, but I can go All the way

    4) Observe in game how lockstop behaves during regular cornering and oversteering - report
Hard to test because when I try hitting the lock I can't drive normally, Except for the karts, The wheel in game stopts turning, but i can still turn my SimuCube
I can feel the zone starting, but can turn easy through the resistance, wheel wants to spring back to the point where the zone starts, but I can go all the way

Before a hard-lock was a hard-lock no zone but a point where the wheel stopped turning, I like the hard lock, but I am not sure what the problem will be other then Immersion reduction, before It felt more "real" because the wheel actually stopped turning, now it is in a spongy spring loaded state after passing the start of the zone

!! I never had any wobble or oscillation like CrimsonEminence mentioned

The story is a little different, I just reverted from RC to the current version to test what exactly the difference is, and as you said the force after hard-lock seems the same, but there is no Hard-locking-point anymore in the RC. It seems removed.
Normally the Hard-Lock-point made me clear where the steering-lock was, but as just tested I could still turn my wheel after it, since it was so clear where the locking-point was I probably never tried to turn more, now there is just the zone, but no hard-locking-point

Very glad to see the hard lock stops toned down. I used to get violent oscillations on my DD1.

I've tested as well today, I can confirm what @SaxOhare wrote. No Hard Stop anymore, just a vague rise in resistance and a spring effect that wants to return to the max sterring angle, but that you can push through easily, no difference if the car is parked, drives (~50km/h) or oversteers. I tested a few cars across the classes, from modern F1 to classic GTs, all behave the same.

I also use an SC2 Pro with overall strength at 60% in TrueDrive. My current full settings are in my signature. I also never had any oscillations or other issues with snapback at the hard stops before.

I appreciate the change for people who had issues with the hard stops, but I'd like my immersion back please :) Maybe something can be done to actually make the wheel stop agian.

I’m using the beta and it seems to me like the slick tyres now become completely undrivable if it gets wet which does make sense but the speed at which the track goes from bone dry to soaked seems far to quick , I’ve had a couple of races where it’s rained at the start of the lap and been almost impossible to get back to the pits. Anyone else notice this ?
