Not really, F1 & F2 don't have refueling and in the F1 games AI changes tyres during their pitstops. In ACC there's the option to have mandatory refueling or mandatory tyre change only. Having options is always a good thing.

Question about shifting gears in GT1 cars.

I was trying to do heel toe downshifting the sequential shifter of the Porsche 98 GT1, but noticed many downshifts failed, probably because of the protection limiting downshifts when the rpm is too high?

Is this normal behavior? Is my heel toe downshifting wrong? Should I even heel toe downshift these cars?

In spite of having a shift lever, I think these cars had the engine revs controlled by the ECU, so lifting and blipping isn't necessary. I could be wrong though.

Need to look at players who speed through the pits on ovals or go around the apron and still have lap time validated in time trials. Delete invalid times or legitimate players have no reason to compete.

Spa '70 is a masterpiece, been playing around with the F-Vintages there and it's incredible. Thank you Reiza!

In general, I love what's being done with this update. Being able to fine tune the number of cars per class is a fantastic feature, and Spa 70s adds a whole host of racing possibilities to AMS2. It's the Le Mans-style track I've been waiting for. In fact, this feels like one of the most significant builds of 2022.

Initial specific feelings are that the radar needs work. I'm finding it very distracting, and it can be disorientating. It's interesting how off it feels, because the ACC radar has always felt completely intuitive.

Also, when I'm not getting spectacularly punted into the Shadow Realm by the AI on Spa 70s, I'm swerving to avoiding AI pile-ups on the same track. It's a great circuit though. It's shaping up really well.

Right now however, I've reverted to the previous build to test the handling. It might be just me, but the handling feels way too twitchy in the latest build. Not 100% sure about that yet though.

Beaucoup de courses en GT1, en Dpi, très certainement ce GTP, diverses monoplaces et avec des courses d'1h30 minimum. Le travail sur l'IA a l'air excellent (et je m'amusais déjà beaucoup avant). Merci, merci, merci Reiza ! :) Et le FCY, it's hyper really and "imersif". Sorry for my franglais :rouler des yeux:

Hi there!! My feedback on what I see on this update:

    > I think you must deactivate or turn off Boost / P2P on Montana Series when they are in oval.

    > In Daytona Track Oval... it is normal to keep in middle of the exit pitlane those orange cones before the first curve? in race you literally broke into de middle track race when you exit pit because the orange cones... the oval exit must be on the next straight, it isn't ?

    > Sometimes V8 cars in oval in Daytona, when they exit pit, they keep the pitlane speed during the firt corner and start to acelerate in the the second straight.

    Thanks!

    Yep, just my imagination.

A note on Historic Spa: The buildings jump out as very basic right now. Hopefully the textures will receive some love before the final release (e.g. giant roof slates, boulder-sized stones in the walls etc). It's a bit RF2 right now.
