just done our first league race, i sure hope the fix for missing aids works as we had 2 people out of 12 missing their abs on the standard nonRC version, plus my server was set to authentic with game aids not allowed yet they could still select the "game" abs

 

Thats also the lowest powered car. Try the C9, its a pretty alarming difference

 

I had this happen to me in single player last night on the RC. The trick / work around is to bind the traction control, ABS and stability control buttons for the games TC, ABS and SC. Then hit that button in the race to the low settings for TC lets say as an example and it brings back the authentic TC where you can adjust the levels via the numbers.

 

tbh it's a pretty game breaking bug, most people aren't gonna know these work arounds

 

Sure most people wont know it but I don't see it game breaking because there is a work around for it to work. Game breaking means there is no work around and it doesn't work period.

 

I wouldn't read too much into this. it's likely just part of the art license that's part of the track. Theres an NTT Data IndyCar series board at gateway and we know IndyCar won't be in the game anytime soon if at all.

 

Nope, no difference at all! Take it to Galeao Airport (high DF) close all the vents, rad, brakes, turn all the wings down as far as they will go, turn the boost up to 100% and you will hit 350/351kph on the runway.
Now take it to Daytona (low DF) do exactly the same, you'll hit exactly the same speed dead on!

The reason I asked is because @CrimsonEminence said that they were not finished in the last RC build, so I just wanted to know if the physics differences had taken effect in this new RC build. Seems I've answered my own question now after a bit of testing

 

Not only low, I used to get this exact thing but also with black vegetation and I had track details on the highest setting

 

This works, can now keep temps under 100. Still cant get those rears v hot though, even if i slide it around like a nutjob!

 

Spa is just fantastic! Love the cars and animals and textures around the track. Love the fact the cows are animated! Brilliant!

 

Nice one mate cheers! Yep I know rears are always gunna be colder on the FWD, just having fun trying! Dunno how important this is but I just had to shutdown AMS2 using end task in the task manager as I was driving at Spa 1970 1000 in the Mclaren F1, I paused it to look at the replay and it played for a bit then went nuts and stuttery, then froze and only gave me the option to skip to end, but button was unresponsive. I've seen this before the RC build aswell I think

Hasn’t been released yet for non beta testers.

 

I remember having this issue when reloading a track into a different season. It seemed to be some bug with loading the different foliage. Restarting AMS2 was the workaround.

I haven't experienced this for a long time though, and seasonal change in Spa 70 seems fine.
