Enna Pergusa, it's a real place in Sicily and it was in GTR2

It's not that track appeared in GTR2 or Need For Speed Shift 2

 

Just a heads up, if you are bouncing back and forth between the road circuits and the Ovals with the CART cars like I've been doing, you have to reset your set up each time you swtich to a different style of track with the different areo package. Otherwise the phyisics get wonky and the car goes all tokyo drift again. Once you reset setup though, its fine.

 

I'm guessing you too just watched Circuits of the Past ?

This bug has being going on for awhile. Even if you go back from track to the pits via menu, you might need to reset your setup.

 

TBF there's still a lot of work to be done. LDF isn't working, Indy isn't in the game yet, Fontana is Still DQ'ing me every other race start.

 

Indy is in the game. In beta.

 

I just hope the RC gets IMS soon, but shouldn’t obviously be released before they have reached an agreement and it has reached the desired quality

I'm used to the RC being followed by a patch release in Max a week. Wondering why this one has taken 2 weeks already. I may have missed a proposed release date.

Been wanting to start a new championship series but don't want patch released in the middle changing how I want the settings. Maybe I should have been playing the last two weeks! Probably would have wrapped it up.

Any insight admins/devs?

Ok here's a weird one!

Spent today doing extensive testing at Laguna Seca in the BMW M4 GT4, just me, the car and the track. When I realsied what im about to tell you I kept on going as I just could'nt believe it, but after hours of testing, yep, better believe it cause its definately happeneing!

Turn off ABS and you can run much further back biased brakes

Turn ABS on (and not just on, up to 10!). You are now MORE likely to loose the back end under braking, much more so! Even if you set the brakes further forward, infact if you use ABS you better think about setting the brakes much further forward!

Is this an RC thing, i've got a feeling not, because the ABS and TC have always been a bit odd but I don't really use them, it was just today testing out a certain type of setup that required it that I found this out.

The ABS will still stop the wheels from locking in a straight line, but its loads worse than having it off round corners, thats just not right!

 

Now there are cows on track. So, the sun god won't run out of cheese anymore.
