Won't it just mainly be overwriting the current files? I have 60 GB free on the SSD with AMS2 loaded on it.

Your singular preference huh? You sound like I am the only one that want this option. Anyone who own a VR headset know that they can't play this game in rain with lights on without sacrificing graphics quality. Giving an option to turn it off does not equate to cancellation of the feature and thus your point of not satisfy everyone doesn't make sense.

RC isn't a separate full install, it will download and install a only the RC stuff (something like 13GB or so iirc)..

Basically if you switch to the RC your AMS2 install will be just as big as if the update came to the release version, maybe a little bit larger or smaller because things will still be changed around an added and/or removed. You get updates earlier and in smaller increments in RC, with a few bugs and such, since the RC version is for testing purposes.

For comparison, my AMS2 install with the RC currently sits at 88.9GB

Thanks so much for your informative reply. Time for a new 2GB SSD SATA III Internal HDD this week on either Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Dumb question.... what's the difference between 'vehiclesetups' and 'tuningsetups' folders?

tuningsetups was the old folder for setups, they changed the folder to vehiclesetups in a pretty major update (I wanna say 1.4 but don't quote me on that) to make sure everybody had a clean slate as there were issues with people having super messed up physics as a result of several updates' worth of unchanged setups clashing with several updates' worth of physics changes

Thanks guys. Safe to delete both folders for a bit of a "force defaults" kind of deal?

Yeah, for vehiclesetups I'd recommend only deleting everything inside of the folder rather than the folder itself just in case but you can delete tuningsetups completely as it's not used anymore

Been watching all the disscusion and debate about the pros and cons of electric cars in sim racing here on this forum recently and I have a suggestion.
Im sure licencing is an issue with Formula E, but im sure it would'nt be if you wanted to get an exciting electric car in the sim, and also be the first ever racing sim develpoer to do so!
This car can drift, do 0-60mph in under 2 seconds! And it hits 258mph! Plus it looks georgous!

I reckon they'd be very happy to get the press aswell, so getting it in the sim would be easy. And this would be a world first in simracing! I think Reiza could do it!

    Whadyathink?
