Automobilista 2 V1.4.5.2 & New DLC Packs RELEASED!

I do really like that we have the option to be able to see things like the brake adjustment bias, however with the dashes on a lot of cars now working (certainly one of my favorite things about the update), I would also love the option to be able to turn the messages off, especially for the purpose of immersion in VR!

 

They can add messages on the screen in the car like in F1 or GT3s

 

Thats what I mean, they alreay have, the dashes have been updated, now alot of the GT3's have dashes with multiple screens you can cycle through and the ABS, TC and Brake Bias values on the dash now work and change to the exact values you change them to. Its brilliant!

 

P.S. Talking of F1 cars, It would be really great to have DRS activation lights on the dash in the cars that have it. Do they not have them IRL? I've not checked on this but surely they have a graphic on the dash to tell them that their DRS has opened or shut. Also with cars that have push to pass (Like the Stockcars or Copa Montana), do they not have some sort of graphic on the dash to tell the driver its activated? If they do I hope we can get that in game aswell, because I can't drive them without the HUD showing so I know i've activated it, which is not Ideal in VR

Yeah, i tried the new stuff on stream yesterday, and i felt the same, i also noticed a weird underlying sound watching the Brabham Hypercar from trackside camera's on Road America, havent tried other tracks, but its noticeable under braking/downshifts.

Personally i dont like the Brabham BT49 F1 car, mostly because its wheel/cockpit view is off centre for quit a bit, did a bit of searching and it doesnt seem to have it that much in real life, probably just me, but once i have seen such a thing, i cant "unsee" it, and just find it too distracting, the Mclaren MP4/5B is probably the one i like best out of the Brazilian legends cars.

 

Hi, do you have the H pattern shifted set to on in the control settings, if so… try turning that off.
I had this issue and that fixed it..

A few of the rev lights go Green to indicate DRS is available and then a few more turn Green when it is activated. They also have a “peep” when it is available

 

Thanks I managed to fix this. It wouldn't work with a pre-set wheel config. (Fanatec CSW2.5)

I had to setup a new custom wheel config and re-map everything. This seems to have fixed it

Surprisingly for me, of all the cars in the Brazilian legends pack, the McLaren MP4/4 is the one I like the least. Equally surprising to me is the fact that the one I like the best is the Brabham BT52. Its a beast and great fun! I even like the sound

 

Hello friends !! After the hotfix, the Nissan R89 LD is no engine sound and the FFB is very strange for me.
But did anyone else have problems?

Concerning dashboards: when I drive Porsche GT3 in VR I always see “TC: 10” on my virtual steering wheel no matter which traction control I set with K key. Is this normal?

any idea how to make the rpm bar visible (behind the steering wheel) in the cockpit of the McLaren MP4/5B?
