Why half of my cars don't have engine sounds? Is it something new after last update? New Brazil, GT3 and GT4 are fine.

 

id rather they went back to rfactor 1 engine, ams1 drove much better than ams 2

 

Maybe it used to but that is not longer the case.

 

Name the cars and track combos. I haven't ran into any that do not.

 

if he would be the owner, he wouldn't have to develop a new physics engine and use UE5 as gfx engine.
But he can buy all Reiza developed tracks and cars models to save time

 

I'm pretty sure that's the case, because he's already shown Reiza modeled cars in UE5 on twitter

 

Let's hope EA being EA and sending SMS and the madness engine into oblivion, is one of the reasons Reiza can do a little bit more to help modders.

 

I experience this issue a lot and I've checked the speaker settings many times to make sure it isn't a problem with my settings... It's especially bad in cockpit view for some cars where they just have transmission whines...

If I change my speaker set up from surround to stereo it will make the engine sounds pop up in the car, but the rest of the stereo sounds get muted, especially other cars and the engine sound when using the rear view button...

I do not change the in game settings or Windows settings, I've got a profile changer on my speaker set up to swap between surround and stereo...

This issue largely effects tintops... The DPi is an example I would use of a closed cockpit sound profile being correct in AMS2... Whilst the Copa B class and generally any 6 cylinder car is very very muted...

As such when I'm jumping from lobby to lobby driving different cars I've had to incorporate sound settings as part of my set up pre-race... Sometimes I have to raise the engine sound sliders to maximum whilst the open wheelers have to be dropped to 30-40 so I can hear crew chief without editing those settings...

 

I tried verification and one car is fixed so I hope it was my installation.

 

I had some doubts about Ian before but they look like correctly crazy. PC1 and PC2 were pretty good and AMS2 is amazing. They should stay in contact.

Reiza doing a great job with the madness engine code, wouldn't be surprised if Ian is asking Renato to share their findings for the next game while they are working on the graphics....

Reiza licensed an old version of PC2/Madness engine but nothing prevents them from developing on top of it....I think it's the same for SMS/Ian...

Basically helping each other...

...or going to start a collab in the next future...

...or an acquisition (they just need to wait for MSG fiasco)...
