It´s my favourite new car so far. The Nissan GTR3 seems to have no traction control or it does very little.

 

Tried track variants with custom dates and default dates
custom weather and real weather and mix of all. same as prior reports by others
(ginetta g40 test session used. not race

 

My wish/request is that we got more camera settings so you can change it to your desire and what you want. I know there is camera fov settings but that's not same thing. I like default fov. Using mostly roof camera because that works best for gamepad/controller, at least for me. Now camera is too low and front. There is some visual problems and clipping. Only can see a little bit of front wing and tires if driving specific openwheel cars. Not all cars have this problem. Is there planned changes to camera settings? Maybe a file so we can change those themselves or similar to AMS1? AMS1 camera settings is great.

Great update as always. I know what I'm gonna do in new years eve and next year. Safe driving everyone.

 

i driven classic gen4 and in many cars i can't see a driver included myself.

and please fix the mph, kph hud issue for the perfection

 

Really solid step forward guys. I really start to notice some of the artificial feeling in the handling is vanishing. Really happy with this update!

 

I just gave some drifting a try with the C8, (Granted, I'm not very good at it) The suspension is pretty soft for a mid engine car, and that might be what's catching you out? It's very easy to try and hang a slide out too far, load up that bit of the suspension, and then not be able to catch the snap as it happens. That's my best guess, because it that little bit I did, it felt as I would expect?

 

The MP4/6 is awesome, worth the money on it's own in my opinion.

 

Just had the game crash to desktop, Nissan Group C at daytona. (I think someone else mentioned that too. )

The Nissan GT-R gt3 sounds terrible….I know it’s not a v8, but compared to say the Mclaren gt3 the Nissan sounds like a 4 cylinder Yugo…buzzy and the dash is weak as well, handling is not bad but it doesn’t seem as planted as the AMG merc, and the ffb isn’t as good as the other gt3 cars. I do like the new abs and tc indicators on the AMG merc. dash.

 

The BT52 is amazing, sounds and cockpit are top notch. A little disappointed to see the boost button -PTP thing is back in the 98T and MP4/4. These cars should have a boost control dial in-car not a once-per-lap arcade feature like they have at the moment. They used the boost control more for lowering the power for fuel economy through the race, than one instant of boost per lap.

Does anyone else have a problem with the secondary controller bindings not working?

They map fine in the config but don't work in game?

No, it's a tire thing. I may not have IRL experience with the C8, but I'm feeling the exact same issue real drifters used to complain about in PC2. It has to do with the transitions or ending the drift. Mid drift it's completely fine, it's only when you want to end the slide or fling the car into another drift.

At high to medium-high speed it behaves like it should, but at low speed, any rear slip grips up immediately. I took the car around Sliverstone National and it was fairly good, acting predictable, but around Buskerud or other kart tracks it would get into a death spiral out of 2nd gear corners.

 

Seems to crash when loading the low downforce variant.
