Actually, NASCAR owns Daytona and Fontana as well as Watkins Glen. ISC (who was founded big Bill France himself) was purchased by NASCAR in 2019. So Reiza have been working with NASCAR at some capacity but I'm sure MSG has the same licence strangle hold on NASCAR as they do with LeMans and Indycar.

Also the key difference between NASCAR and Indycar is that before the Gen 7 car, chasis were made by different manufacturers. This is probably what allowed rFactor and Pcars to have generic NASCAR stock cars. But now much like Indycar the chasis are all made by Dallara.

Seems to me that Grid Legends has generic Nascar cars (modern and vintage). I don't see why Reiza couldn't offer it as well. This would be a much appreciated addition for me.

Did the Nissan GTR GT3 get some change in the hotfix? It feels more balanced in the corner exits, although I did change some stuff someone suggested like droping the clutches to 2. It kindda feels like a totally different car from the first time I drove it, much better.

Yeah but there was two hotfixes before that if I remember. Anyway the tuning changes made a difference then. Yesterday I tried it in Road America where the weirdness really showed before, now it's just smooth out of corners, also changed the brake bias to 62 front. Driving it at Watkins glen now, with the same changed settings, pretty smooth.

Grid Legends is an arcade leaning game and its generic stock car is a mishmash of 2010s stockcars. That isn't a good representation of how stockcar racing is like in 2022, 2021, 2020 nor the late 2010s.

I tried a new custom FFB file and that is what I also felt. I didn't change anything in the setup which probably means they did something

I had the same impression, when I drove the Nissan when it was released, I noticed that the rear tended to unsettle (just a little) upon acceleration on the end of the corners. I played again online with the GTR last weekend and the car was more neutral, more planted. (Which it looks correct according to real drivers feedback regarding how stable is the car) It was definitely noticeable. I used default setup on both runs.

I've noticed also that the Porsche GTE car tends to have huge lockups now and you can ruin the tyres in just a couple of corners, when before this was not at all the case.

I believe I've seen similar comments by others as well.

Tire wear seems faster in general since the last update too.

If you lock up now, some tyres lose like 25% wear in one go.

Definitely makes you more aware, but not sure if it is intended.

Maybe they have quietly changed the tyre model. CHECK THE 98T!

Was running the F Classics (Gen 3 I think) and we noticed something similar. The tires had really drastic wear in quali, but were much more resilient in the race. I know that era had special quali only tires, but I didn't know if we had those restrictions in game. Laptimes were similar, so I'm not sure what happened.

Also, sometimes with accelerated tire wear, if you sit in the pits, your tires will wear without doing anything at all. It's as if accelerated tire wear just evenly wears the tires and doesn't actually multiply what damage you do to the tires individually.

Could be that I noticed that bigger wear because I've been doing alot of qualifyings to try to gauge witch dificulty to race now because some classes feel slower, and I drive in quali like I'm trying to destroy the tires haha.
I have to see how the wear behave in longer races yet, But something is changed for sure.

Seems though they added something. Don’t know if it is a RC update or not.
