P1 class is more like LMP3 level of performance isnt it? If I'm not mistaken last year a Ligier JS P320 started racing in P1.

 

No. LMP3s are not that much quicker than GT3 or GTEs. P1 should be a level above those.

 

So LMP2?

 

No, the Ligier for example is made for LMP3 and run in LMP3 all around the globe, maybe it could be a bit faster in Endurance Brasil for some BOP reason, because there is no LMP2 or anything else racing above it here, but no LMP2 for sure.

 

Brazilian P1 is at the same level as a DPI and they run perfectly together (Although the DPI seems to have slightly softer tires giving it a edge on short races and being a detriment on longer races)

But what I ment is the G58 is a DPI in that its a LMP 2 chassis with the limiters taken off more or less. It sounds amazing, it drives likes its on rails, good visibility for a LMP. Very fun car to drive.

 

Oh yeah the G58 is a blast for sure, now that you say it I remember racing P1 and DPI together in previous builds at Monza and they were pretty close, at Watkins Glen not so much.
Also, are you abble to run the Brasil Endurance preset? When I try it the AI is just GT3 and GT4.

 

Yeah I've had no issue as far as class spread. The Brazilian Endurance series is just a madhouse, especially when pitstops start happening.

I noticed now that I had the real name AI mod but just for the GT3 and GT4 installed, adding the files for the other classes or removing everything fixes it, just a known issue I forgot.

Means it was planned to release this month, but as often happens when you plan anything, stuff happens that delay such plans. There are still 3 days left, but better not expect anything and if they do release it fine, and if they dont, just keep waiting till they do.

Be happy if u enjoy ams2 and the simple fact that it exists and is in development, and if u don’t, go and have fun with any other sim out there.

Around LMP2 level but different way of driving: super fast in corners, at times even more than DPIs and not so fast in the straights.

 

With the LMP2 slowed down after LMH and LMDH the P1 are probably faster now than the current LMP2? This is confusing, If only WEC would race at Interlagos for some real life comparision.

 

Quite possibly but it will depend a bit on the track. We have had a championship with DPi and P1 and in many cases the first P1 was in the top 3-5...
