I made a post asking about the random weather generation in this sim if it set the random weather ONCE for each race or every time it's triggered. After a few races, it turns out, Yes, every time the random weather phase is triggered it re-randomizes the weather. This is so awesome, because I can set up a long race with just two random weather slots and it gives me a plethora of weather combinations throughout the race. So glad they did this.

 

Same post in four threads with an instruction to fellow forum users not to complain about that because he believes his opinion is important enough to warrant repetition. The warning kind of gives the game away that he knows posting the same thing four times is excessive - but the desire for attention is overwhelming...

 

I do think it is a bit excessive, but in the end of the day I just can't get that annoyed? Like I usually just ignore his posts (no offense to him! Just not the kind of content I enjoy) and it's mostly harmless. But at the end of the day, I think pumping the brakes on the self promo stuff is probably a good idea.

 

Sponsorship and promotional material is littered throughout motorsports... It's gone well past the point of excessive... There was a time when it annoyed me but with the aid of adblockers and ad-free races I've had less of their intrusiveness in my life... And outside of a few well known sponsors I really couldn't tell what sponsor is selling me what unless they had it in their name... I thought NAPA was a drink like Snapple for many years, not a tool company...

With monetised youtubers they are incentivised to be as intrusive as possible as every click counts... So I completely see why people are annoyed with any youtuber promoting themselves...

However... I do agree with the premise behind TT's post this time around... And the passion they show for AMS2 does stand out...

AMS2 has so much potential with where the physics are, but it will constantly be held back by it's primitive MP experience... And the other TL;DR note to take from those long posts is that "Less content and more fixes would really help push AMS2 forwards"...

 

He learned that trick from "Nascar 5" on Gamecube.Now NASCAR has forbid this kind of raceing for safty reasons.

So now folks do a test in AMS 2 to see if it works.

Did a test back in January. It actually worked. Kinda. The turn at WWT is a bit too long to make it a possible strategy.

It was a question about the post made by @farcar. I asked if it was a joke, but then I figured out it probably is one.

 

Still having hope for a Nascar stock car added, even just a generic one. Until then i will just NASCARize every car class in the game .

 

It's a Stock Car on an oval at least! Not exactly the right type of Stock Car but one nonetheless
