This is what drives me nuts about Kunos titles. You say something is wrong and they will argue till death its you and not them until they have a revelation again. Unfortunately their forum works the same way.

Well at least they aren't as toxic as the iRacing folks but still...

The 1.9 update will certainly incorporate findings from the AC2 development.

ACC really did ruin people's expectations from sim racing games...

A whole generation of sim racers have been taught the wrong aspects of sim racing... From how to brake and accelerate to how to set up a car... That magical tyre pressure number going missing is going to force the entire grid to work on set ups...

Something that many of the fast guys in ACC absolutely refuse to do because the default is set up for the track, you just have to adjust your brake bias and hit that magical tyre pressure setting and you are good at any track...The amount of times I've have gotten a talking to for daring to change a default set up outside of those reasons is beyond me...

Yeah they'll always run to their favourite GT3 driver saying it's realistic without realising that they were paid for that feedback...

Any mention of the physics being outdated is immediately shot down with "just because it's more complicated doesn't make it more realistic"... If the tyres have to be set to a magical pressure point no matter the effects it has on the contact patch then that's far more unrealistic...

They are as bad as each other... The MP side of those titles is the only reason they are as popular as they are today... Neither will accept that this is the only reason these titles are still popular despite being outdated in terms of the physics when compared to the rest of the market...

I mean I'm slightly still on topic...

As AMS2 is one of the titles with more complex physics...

Anyway... As much as I want to drive the Sudschleife and every day is a case of "are we there yet?" I'm happy for it to have more polish on it when it surfaces...

Funny how someone dares to say something good about ACC there's always people desperately trying to explain why ACC is somehow inferior to AMS2.

It's a damn shame that so many ignorant simmers are playing their favourite video game instead of AMS2.

well the iRacing had some folks stalking doxxing ppl, and that on its own is already more toxic than anything I ever saw from the ACC guys

but overall I’d say that ACC and iRacing do have the most toxic community in simracing

sure every community have its bad apples but those 2 above are on another level

my problem with ACC is that it require a expensive hardware to give you the optimal experience, especially on the FFB side, on my g29 I get more information on AMS 2 and in a good time, rFactor 2 is the FFB king for me

the other issue I have with ACC is the lack of classic/retro cars

Not saying that the game “sucks” or that it’s unplayable but that rF2 and AMS2 does offer a better experience in the hardware I own at the moment

hardware difference is something that need to always be taken into account when comparing games it’s like a bid elephant in the room that rarely gets addressed in those comparisons

Maybe it’s because they are the largest and they think that means they are the best

Honestly even on DD1 ACC doesn't feel any better in terms of FFB. Sure hardware differences are there but IMHO it is not the only contributor.

Wait really? That is kinda of a chocker for me, I heard a guy saying that with DD it have a good experience and implied that maybe it was only “poorly optimized” for belt or gear driven wheels

I guess not only you need a dd but you need a extremely expensive or specific model to enjoy ACC FFB

I have a belt driven wheel, tm tx servo base, and no complaints about the ACC ffb.

as long as you haven'd used any DD, you have no problem with a TX
After some hours with a DD, you definitely will

You should low the base force and increase the gain ingame. ACC has a realistic ffb, i can feel the tires perfectly.

    I have a 15 nm dd base.
