Jake is on another level and not just in the small niche of vintage sim racing but with all of YT. His editing, background/history and commentary are top notch.

Going with this fully off-topic flow and the GP Laps topic, does anybody know what happened with Chris Haye? Other than Jake, he's one of my favourite YoutTubers but his uploads are very rare, the latest one being uploaded 2 months ago.

I watched a few of his videos here and there, but i am just not a fan of videos where people constantly all the time every time talk about every redundant information that is on the screen. At all times. I like it when stuff on the screen speaks for itself every now and then because hearing someone talk all the time is exhausting to watch and listen to.

I watch only one channel for racing games stuff, WhatiFRacing, and even thou he talks often in his videos he doesn't bombard the viewer with all the information all the time and also adds segments where he shows stuff happening and adds commentary later.

LOL... truly ironic coming from a guy who must be watching NASCAR with constant left turning for hours with constant commentary. ;)

Don't worry man, it is alright to have an incorrect opinion on something you do not understand at all. But i can send you some videos so you can educate yourself about it.
EDIT: Here is one lesson for free - look at all the constant left turning they have to be doing on these tracks, it is crazy i tell you !

That reminds me that we need an IMS update with the 2007 road course layout, it was a lot better than the modern one we have

I thought of the same thing the moment i saw this road course. Made sense they would put the modern layout, but the 2000 - 2007 was HEAPS better than the current one. Here is hoping for a historic version.

Please fix the wrong flags in custom championship, sometimes they're wrong, and sometimes they're all white.

This talk of all these historic tracks got me all anxious. I've watched this video of historic sebring several times:

Man, maybe AMS2 can one day be an all encompassing current and historic racing simulator with strong focus also on Sportscar racing after the F1 phase has been done. I hope we get the rallycross out of the way ASAP so the devs can get back to the core of the game.

Any chance the track modelling team can be expanded to produce more tracks and as production of that team can be turned into DLC dollars!?

What even is the "core" of this game anyway ?? Also I have seen people complaining that oval racing should not receive a single bit of extra content anymore, like people are fine with the idea of a type of racing being added and receiving only 3 tracks total with NOTHING ELSE.

Basically asking the devs to throw away a year of work and just let it die. There is at least one extra "USA racing" content being worked on by the by. I think they should add at least 5 or 6 more oval tracks because currently it feels not really worth it.

For the pack that is supposed to add rallycross or dirt oval racing or whatever offroad stuff, it should have at least 6 varied tracks at release so that it would even make sense to have it there in the first place.

No content should be added quickly and pushed "out of the way".
