I believe Sir Jack Stewart said that at each lap at Nurburgring he used to lift off the ground 13 times. But this is in regards to his early F1 cars which were lighter and more prone to lift off than more aero dependent cars.

 

the bumps were there for a very long time. although many were smoothed during the renovation, they were never gone. especially pflanzgarten and flugplatz

but i think there is problem in stock car 23 tires yet.
i tried stock car 23 at daytona trioval with my 2 friends today.
(20th aug 2022 14:00, 1 clear weather, no dmg, no mech dmg)
during 10laps, my tire pressure was keeping 1.8bar but one of my friend's tire pressure has raised over 2.1 bar and car speed was much faster than me. same line, same aero environment.

 

That was after he did the lap of the gods of i am correct. I love group C.

 

Are larger AI revisions tied to physics revisions as well? So we can expect *only* classes with updated physics in 1.5 to also get a AI revision or other classes as well?

 

I honestly thought the 2023 cars were slightly different, shows what an excited mind can do

(I appreciate the 2022 cars more than I thought!)

 

So how long was the 71 layout of Nurb in use? When did the layout change?

I know nothing about setting up a car. But... you didn't say if you were running the same setup.

If you were, maybe his driving style served to heat up the tyres, which increased pressures, which increased tyre circumference & reduced rolling resistance - dunno if this all is simulated.
