Automobilista 2 V1.4.7.1 & Nürburgring Historic Officially Released - Now Updated to v1.4.7.2

Yeah, Brünnchen is the only place where I see a few spectators. But, compared to the historic version (which still will get even more spectators and trackside-objects as Renato said) the modern version seems pretty empty and "sterile" IMHO. I thought that there were more spectators and tents and other things in the past but as I already wrote in another post maybe I remembered it wrong or confused it with another simulation...
Edit: How do I get the 24 Hours Event mode with more spectators and tents? Do I have to enter a specific date or a specific season? I thought the amount of spectators is only different between trackdays and races but not depending on dates and seasons...

Do you guys know if I need to disable mods and bootfiles to make it work or if disabling only the bootfiles is enough? I’m not home yet, but I will have some time to try, don’t want to get it wrong as I will have maybe 45min only! There’s this thing called life always getting in the way!Thanks for the help

 

I only disabled bootfiles and had no issues running AMS2

 

Just take the 24 Hours layout,you can't get more eyecandy!But who does camping in winter or autum?

FWIW, I didn't even disable the bootfiles (forgot I had mods installed) and the game updated just fine, with access to Nur 1971 and everything. Only thing is that the mods are not showing up, but that's expected.

 

There are no homeless in the Eifel.Sparsely populated and lots of forest with caves.A bad mobile radio network too.The caves would then be the better "deal".

 

Same here,but the Stock Car,Nordschleife 71 and the Mods did not show up.

 

You have front aero damage! Confirm front aero damage, you might experience some ovesteer in corners copy?

 

Through the gate at across from the 48 and ¾ pit, i can travel outer / inner area both.
i think it will takes more than 1 or 2 hours to visit all non-track areas.
IMO track team seems to made nurburgring area as historic museum.
I hope you check and enjoy their job.

 

Now that the Historic Nordschleife+Sudschleife combo is almost out the door, may I please ask for revised possible timetable of the upcoming DLC? I will, ofcourse, take these dates with the appropriate amount of pinches of salt.

 

Maybe we get Le Mans in June and the DLCs you quoted get pushed over to Q3/Q4 2023?

Nurburgring 1971 is soooo good, I'm really happy with it! Sudschleife is nuts lol.

Also, I'm happy to see that wet weather improvements have cured the problem that DTMs had on those conditions. Now they are raceable on wet weather!

 

The Südschleife is now my favorite track in all of simracing. The Formula retro gen 1s are so much fun around their. The Lotus 79 is blast around it as well.

 

There's just so much fun to be had around the Gesamtstreke...

What headlight issue is there in VR ?
EDIT: Not sure what Gazzawesty and Mista are finding funny on a genuine question.

 

The large amount of dynamic lights (car headlights) when night racing causes massive performance issues in VR making night racing impossible for many VR players.
It is why you'll see many VR players asking for at least the option to limit the amount of rendered lights like you can limit the amount of visible cars in rF2 for instance.
