What a pain haha, I want to drive! Luckly this time I was kindda expecting this and made a backup of the settings, now I erased the documents folder, validating local files just in case, lets see...

Had a quick 20min spin in the Ultimate Gen2 and Ginetta P1... feels good so far! It feels like you can trail brake further into the corner, and when the rear does give it does so much more progressively. You can feel the rear going with time to correct rather than a sudden snap.

The front also seems to grip more, but these are high aero cars so will be interested to try it with some less aero cars.

    Barcelona is great too!

Omg I think I will love 1.5 physics. I really connect with F-Inter, it is probably my favorite car in sim racing.

The biggest change I've noticed so far: Powerful RWD cars will be less likely to step out when flooring the throttle and instead have more controlled rear wheel spin (I'm particularly hopeful for changes to the Ultima Road and Caterham 620R in this regard). For example, try the Formula Classic Gen 1 and feel how it drives on full boost in v1.4.7.2 compared to release candidate v1.4.8.0

Since there no "model year/era" shown when you pick a car, which cars are newer "retro" or "classic"?

Good chunk of content and overall improvements with this update. thank you to the whole team.

I am a little disappointed that there still hasn't been any kind of changes or overhaul to fuel mapping in game. it would of been a great opportunity to include something as a proof of concept with the F-USA 2023 given how important fuel save and fuel numbers are in IndyCar

The revision includes more than just tires, as a reminder (it also affects undertray properties and aero, suspension etc).

Generally some (probably not all) observed effects that also were aimed for are:
Improved steering response, less skatyness on low speeds especially on throttle, more accurate spring and damping properties for tires (also mitigates the kerb issues previous tires had, which doesn't mean that kerbs aren't unsettling cars anymore but we had the loss of control which was going too far for some cars), also effects on aerodynamics stability and overall tires contact patch works more consistently all over the board for revised classes.

Also wear and wet behaviour will improve, it's still work in progress and milestone is set for 1.5 here like mentioned before.

The higher the "Gen" number the newer the car.

I feel the Lotus 98t 1 is a lot more intuitive to drive now? I totally agree with you, had to boost the turbo pressure to 100 to starting feeling the rear end slip. I think I like how it is now more.
The Brabham BT52 feels less violent now too, more driveable and predictable to an extent.

Very nice that the RC has seperate lobbies now, will there be a RC of the Dedi server in the future as well?

You have a winner with the Formula Junior. What a car. So fun to drive and perfect for the Sudschleife.

while we're on the topic of content added: Is the Formula USA 2023 part of which Racin' USA DLC? 2 or 3? Or is it a free car? Asking this since I haven't been able to buy Part 3 yet and I have it :)

(Hope this is not a mistake and I can keep driving it because it's too fun)

    As for the Formula Junior:
While the car seems to be modeled from a 1962/63 Lotus 20 but without the side air ducts, the engine is more powerful and the brakes are disc brakes and not drums which was on the original. So I think the Formula Junior is not in the same spec as in the original FJ series, but instead meant to resemble the modern version that we have in current-day historic Formula Junior races.
